New interior for my WRX

Almost finished installing my new interior for my '02 WRX
I hated the seats and wanted something with more support.
A quick teaser.

The seatbelt pads will be off soon they came with the seats and I just wanted to see how it looked. Needless to say I don't like them.

The seats are 02 STi seats. The carpet and door cards are from an 04. These seats are so much tighter and more bolstered than the USDM STi seats. If I weighed anymore I would not be comfortable in these.

Yeah totally. Every time I open the door now its like a different car. When it was all apart I cleaned everything and I mean everything. Every nook and cranny with vinylx (or how ever you spell it). The interior looks brand new.

wow dude , u did an excellent job. it was completely stripped. i would of just gotten racing seats tho.. unless u got those seats for cheap

man, thats looks good, i thought i worked hard making my ride look the best i could make, i bought cloth paint for my 04 seats and did the seats blue right in the center of the seats not the side. anyway looks awesome keep up the nice work

that looks really nice!! I have a quick question tho. Do the STi seats sit slightly lower than the regular wrx or is it just my imagination? Are they the same structure and just different cloth/color? just wanted to know if it is worth swapping sti seats into a wrx thanks

The seats do sit somewhat lower. I would say about an inch.

No the carpet is from an 04 STi that had like 1500 miles on it. As for changing it its not hard as long as you can use tools and remember where stuff goes. It's just time consuming.

I did that same swap excluding the carpet in mine. Kept in in for about 2 weeks and swapped the fronts for Sparco monzas and put the stock rear seat back in and I also have the prodrive floormats also.

It comes on tuesday the 26th. I'll have pics up that night.
Then later in the week my front bumper will be repainted and my Greddy lip, EGR sideskirts and STi mesh fog covers will go on and I'll post an exterior pics thread.

how much for that sti carpet? Also when you changed the carpet, there are rubber mats under the pedals, black color, can you change those? I mean If I ever plan to re-do the interior I'd like to change that rubber mats for brand new ones.. I can't find them on the diagrams.
