I voted JDMs but actually EDMs is what I would buy. I don't personally like morettes and if you want to get them painted you might as well spend the extra cash on EDMs that look better.

I like JDM/EDM's better but morretes with the top and bottom of the headlight looks good IMO.

for the bugeye the EDMs are nice. you dont have to mod something or something to make them fit like the JDM ones. (i heard this, not sure if its actually true) but anyway morettes look like ****...

Orciari's hands down. Its the closest you can get to the WRC version and are LHD or RHD. I have it on my car and will get HID's soon even though the Hella projectors are very good already. They come with headlight motors to adjust tilt, but I don't need that bacause my Praxis suspension already takes care of it. The turn signal looks really cool and the parking light (5W white bulb) is neat.

I love the Orciari/Prodrive headlights... if I could have found a set reasonably priced I would have snatched those up. But for the price I couldn't pass up OEM JDM :)

JDM/EDMs may get people's vote for physical appearance, but time and time again the Morrettes prove to be superior as far as light output goes. Morrettes get my vote :)

EDMs are the European domestic market lights. They look very similar to the JDMs but they have a light pattern that's made for the LHD vehicles.

Opinions on looks aside, the Morettes do provide better light output on low beam because they are H7 vs. H1 for the JDM/EDM's. The Orciari/Prodrive/UK300's are also H7.

I like the morettes personally if you color match them to your car but dont paint the whole housing so its black and the same color as your car they look cool i cant find a pic right now but ill look around after class.

They are by far the nicest looking lights ever made for the Impreza...I have an STi now and I miss those sweet headlights.

about $1100 i only know of 2 sites that sell them, one is subydude, the oter was gruppe-s but i just looked at their site and they didn't have any. When subydude has them in stock his site is saying it comes with a plug and play harness.

ok, now originally I SAID "price" not being an option, but do I have this comparison roughly correct???
Morette's -- used: $300-400 new: $550-650
JDM -- used: $700-$1000 new: $1000 - $1200
EDM -- used: ????? (never seen em) new: $1100+

Good luck on getting EDM's new. It seems everybody is out of stock. I tried earlier this year and gave up. I have seen them used on this site, but they get lurped up soooo fast.

JDM's can be converted to EDM's.. I'm gonna buy a pair, rip them apart, and figure out how. Wish me luck, I'll do a write-up with pics!!
