To answer your questions about the price of the body kit. I contacted Jet Speed, and this is what they have told me. The range on the body kit for the WRX is 1,200 to 1,800 AUD which comes to be $736.84-$1,105.26. Shipping alone to Illinois is about $491.22.

Looks like there are headlight covers on the Blue 04's... it covers some of the hood on one of them.

Gerrod, question(s) for all the interested folks in the Aussie body kits. Do the Aussie shops typically send the kits primered and do they typically ship any paint adhesion promoter? The reason I ask is b/c back in my VW days a buddy of mine ordered a touring wing from Germany and it got held up in customs for months due to it being shipped with volitile chemicals. Could you check around with the local subie folks to find out what is shipped with the kits?
BTW, I was at the Officer's Club last night here at Sheppard AFB and we had a really cool Aussie Air Force Captain hanging with us from Canberra. Not much of a car guy (though he loved scoobies :) ) but cool none the less.

I could be wrong but isn't the rear lip the same thing as the cwest lip? You can get those a lot of places in the states, for a lot cheaper I'd bet. Again, I could be wrong though.

I'm pretty sure that's a full rear bumper. It takes some of the styling on the sides from the cwest lip. If you look at the rear though it's much different. The cwest is almost square across the back and the jetspeed undercuts the bumper quite a bit and has the aero fins.

I finally got through to Jetspeed and talked to Lee (owner of the blue one on the site) about the wrx kit and there seemed to be some misunderstanding on the kit price. The price quoted to me was for just the front bumper shipped to me. The shipping charges are crazy.
There were some questions about the sides and rear being cwest replica's. They are of a similar design but there are differences.
Here are the prices and stuff for the STI bumper on the blue wrx. Anyway. The body kits are made of hand laid fiberglass so they will hold up alot better than some of the replicas and fitment isn't an issue.
Here are the prices if I import a minimum of 3 complete kits
I can get the whole kit for
$940 + shipping. Shipping should be around $130
front or rear bumpers are
$370 each + shipping about 45
side skirts are 300 and shipping is around 30
Texas resident's must pay 8.25%
I can order them for anyone but I will need 80% nonrefundable deposit before I can order them.
If anyone is concerned about that, you can ask any of the people in the Texas/DFW area forum about me.
They charge more for individual pieces than the full kit so the price for individual pieces reflect the extra cost. So it cheaper to buy the whole kit and sell of the parts you don't need.
I'm planning on getting 3 complete kits in and I can have them here in about 2-3 weeks. I know, slow boat right?
