Prodrive is the only company that makes the widebody kit on the WRC car and you could probabaly buy a new WRX for what that would cost. Burn-up of Japan makes WRC style body kits that isn't widebody. Burn It Up and L'aunsport ..... but you have to wait until its released. They always make a replica but you have to give them a bit of time to come up with the new one.

Dude if I'm not mistaking, and gurus correct me if I'm wrong, but everything under the sheet metal is the same between all versions of the wrx since it came over here into the U.S. Since I was gonna have to replace everything on the car anyway to go widebody, why not replace the headlights and tail lights with the newer version? It would just require the right mounting brackets and some wiring. I'm sure you would still have to find some mounting solutions of your own, but what are taps and di's for?

I don't know much about body kits... so I'm wondering how exactly are you going to get the huge rear fender flares to work? Are you goign to have to cut through some of the sheet metal and then fiber glass back together?

If you go to [url]www.japanparts.com[/url] now they do show both the Burn-up kit for the '06 and '04/05 models. Interesting thing about their fenders is that while they look like a widebody kit, they're actually not so your stock wheels will look fine.

Correct; the Fender flare is above the wheel arch curve, so the fender width at that point doesn't change; doesn't compromise the Wheels you're running even if these are Stock

I think it's the same car as the 04/05 they just changed the front to there 06 wide body. So just look at the pics from the other style and you will see what the rest of the car will look like.

APR's body kits are top notch...and this is coming from a guy that HATES bodykits. I saw their WB kit for the Evo VIII in person and I was literally stunned. I wish like crazy that they would build a 22B style kit for the GC8 chassis. I'd buy it without a second thought.

By the time APR comes out with that 22b kit everyone and there moms will be rocking the HT autos kit, Well not really but just to let you know, the option is there if you really want it. Sorry its not an 06 wrx wide body people but I'm still on topic and I'm just trying to help the old school guys out, I know I would buy it in a sec if I had an GC 2.5rs.
