I wish my camera didn't die, I had an awesome view of the red all trac eating that outside ditch in the beginning of the chicane at the end of the course. And then he drove right over it after restart :huh:

There is a right from Elk Point Road to I think it's Rt 52... then they go through 3 chicanes before a hairpin turn onto Lenope Lake. It was at that third chicane this happened.

My favorite "off" was McCormicks "100>crest into L5+ into pond"
I can just about see the rules for next year: "any stage that comes within 50 meters of bodies of water greater than .5 meters in depth require driver and co-driver to wear personal floatation devices" :D
It was a great event, but HP was a much bigger factor than finesee. Even with taking no penalties, our 90whp GTI was no match for the 200whp RWDs. We were flat out on this and similar: 100 R6 500 C 100 C 100 C 50 C 100 R5+ into L6 150, and were getting passed...

Ah yes. They were "taping" a DVD at a bar on Rt.52 in Liberty on Sat. night. We almost went, but were 1. tired and 2. worried what locals we may come across.

The GGW party was $15 a head so we passed on paying for a sausage fest... We talked to those guys at the diner, quite interesting - how does such an ugly motley crew get the girls to go wild? They swore up and down that they don't use "actor" chicks to encourage the others, but I think that's a part of it. They were bummed that they didn't know about the rally, the could have caught the last few stages.

Yeh, someone there had a good video of it. Not sure who it was though. They were near the crest of the jump. Nobody was further down the street with a video camera.
