i just got my car back from the body shop and i had the whole front end repainted and my roof done in black. it looks soo hot :banana: :banana: . ill try and get some pics up later 2night.

nice touch with the psm scoop. so, i take it the hood is cf? i always wondered if you could get a cf film to adhere to your roof that would withstand NY weather. that would be the only way i could invest in a cf hood and trunk, the black is a nice alternative though, looks sweet.
i may paint mine black and leave the rest psm, that would be pretty sweet as well.

its possible. there is a guy on the mazda boards who has a cf overlay on his roof. big bucks though because they normally dont come in sheets that big, i think it cost him 3-5k dollar or something.

They make a CF overlay for the roof, about $600. i found one after I saw th new M6 and wanted it.

Ya, I like it actually. Keep up the work. Nice idea. Looks like it could have been a factory option. That is the key. In my mind at least, mod the exterior and make it look OEM. Having a car that looks like everythinhg was tacked on and an afterthought is easy and overdone and frankly looks like crap. The roof painting is a nice idea and complements the black hood. Also a CF rear spoiler may complement the front spoiler if you are keeping it black. I think the front lip painted silver would look better though. I painted my CF hood as it is just too popular now for my tastes.
If you really want to clean up the front shave the slots next to the fog lights and the antenna. Cover the fog lights too. I am going to shave the front side markers too one day. Here is an idea of the effect.

haha i scrap it often and i couldnt deal wit it if it was painted. plus i think it makes my car stand out from the crowd a little w/o the car attracting too much attention. and if i didnt just get the fron bumper repainted i would have def done the slots that looks really hot.ur car is looking good 2 man. is that a black fmic i see?? hummmmm

those are the stock foglights with yellow film over them. I beleive Rockblocker makes them? correct me im wrong

yes rockblocker does but its not rockblocker on my car. my vinal shop got some material in that supposed to be better so i used it. i have yellow bulbs under it so at night it looks really nice

i did almost the same thing my black has the blue pearl flakes in it and the blue is a subaru blue with white pearl flakes in it and then the stock PSM. nice work though!
