Bug Eye Mafia ***picture Request***

hey there fellow bugeye'ers i have an 02 wrx and im in the process of picking out a front lip, but when i do searches they dont really clarify on what specific lip the pictures are so im asking this community to post pics of there bug eye with an after market front lip. Please state what lip it is and it would also help if you threw a vendors name on wheres the best place to find the lip.

there are only two for the bugeye, a lip and a bumper. the lip is called version 1, and was the one i was referring to.

the prodrive is nice but im looking for something with a lil more style i found this kit at [url]www.body-kit.com[/url] but im not sure about the materials what do you guys think ill probly just get the front lip and side skirts cause the rear lip wont work with my exhaust i dont think

Although I'm a big Prodrive fan, that lip is a little too plain for my taste. The Greddy one looks nice, although I'm sure the comment about it being weak is accurate. I personally like the Sti V.2 lip, but it might be out of your price range.....

If u want something a little more agressive than prodrive and $$$ is tight, Gruppe-S sells Replicas of the STI V1 Lip made in Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber, if $$$ is not an object go with genuine a STI V1 or V2.

I really like the way the greddy looks, especially with the morrettes. i just wish it wasnt so darn weak. I also found a little while ago the Trial lip, from someone else on the board (cant remember his name) and loved the way it looked, kinda like the Greddy but will a little more style added on. Its fiberglass though, but it wont shatter and is fixable compared to the Greddy.

if you want it driveable then go with prodrive.....if you have perfect roads, and drive uber careful up driveways...then go ahead Greddy....

I personally think the oem lip is steller. With the oem lip you dont have to go through the hassle of getting cheapo fiberglass painted AND fitted and that saves you a ton of aggravation and money. The v1 and v2 lips are sweet and are also not too gaudie but are alittle more pricey. I havent been around for long but have read many times of greddys lack luster quality, everyone talks about them busting after a few drives. And since you are from " in the whore" I'm guessing the road to work is ravaged. But, in your defense of the greddy lip you do need something with more pop since you have the morrettes. In my opinion you need something more radical. Finally my suggestion.... scrap the morettes get some stockers or jdm headlights, buy an oem, v1 or v2 and stay clean.

OEM and morettes is the best, morettes and any of the others will look... well... OEM just looks 'right' with the morettes, moreso than any other lip.

I also like Prodrive because it gives it a nice clean look. It's not made out of fiberglass, but polyurethane so it can take a beating as well.

Here is mine.. Replica V1 STi front lip, Liberal replica grill. My FMIC is the SSAutochrome one that is pretty much the same style as the TurboXS one

i vote prodrive .. i dont like any of the others its they make your car look like it has a body kit, there just to many sharp edges. you have to make it flow with the car the bugeye has a rounded front. they just dont match.

The body Kit I used was from Kaminari (Front lip, side skirts, rear lip, rear, adjustable CF wing). The SUBARU body shop that did the work commented on how tight(good) the fit was compared to other body kits they had seen. Good quality stuff. The pieces came Fom JSC Speed but I believe scoobytuner.com also has them.
