cf altezza gc8 tail lights?

hey all,
i've seen both the clear and black versions of the gc8 altezza tail lights. anyone know if there are cf versions? when i find some cf housing projector headlights, would be nice to have matching rear cf ones if they're out there. any ideas?

You may find better luck on one of the British boards, as they are generally more accepting of the look. G'luck on your search :)

i havent seen the CF ones on a GC8 yet...you may also try searching ebay or [url]www.procarparts.com[/url] they usually have stuff like that.... i would go for the total black ones though, from what i have seen of the CF, they look really fake...i mean i know they are fake CF, but some fake CF is more realistic looking than others...as for the projectors, ebay is also the place to check :D good luck

IMO i dont really like the TYC ones...the three circles is a bit much for my taste... i like the two circle setup...but good luck either way and please post some pics :D

would there be some company that could make them w/ real cf (at least real cf overlay) if there were enough people interested in them (ie, group buy) to bring down the cost? also, if anyone knows where to get them, i'm looking for the jdm cf projector headlights for my car - only know of 1 person who's got them, but he still has them on backorder and i haven't gotten a price yet. if anyone knows where to get them or a similar brand w/ real cf vs the fake look, let me know. thnx.

I ohnestly think the carbon one on the white car is decent looking, except the way the designed the back up light. if that one is smaller, it'll look way better.
but I still wouldn't get it, just because most people hate it, why get something if no one is impressed by it.

dude, you have a cf trunk, that seems to me to be easily enough cf on the ass of your car, cf lights would look quite rice. But do what you want its your car.
also if you need more cf on the back get the 22b wing with a cf deck.

your car is nice and clean right now. get any type of taillight except JDM clear and all your work will go down the drain. its good to be different, but if different = ugly as a mofo then different is not so good.
i know you want to stay with cf theme, but whats going to happen is you slap on any of those cheap tailights and thats all people are going to notice and talk about and ignore every other part of your car even if it is nice. I know I'm guilty of it and alot more people I'm sure.

i understand what you are saying...as for me my tails are ALL RED...i am not a full on ricer..yet :D. the reason i was saying to be different was in respect to the Suby community. everyone here has the mentality that there is only a few styles that you should go with an rs or rex..either all rally or all jdm...people ask about taillights and get assaulted with "JUST GET THE JDM's..." :rolleyes: i dont want to get them so i look like EVERY OTHER RS out there....here in town about 75 -80% of the RS's have JDM's...as far as our statemeet went i was the only one with all red tails out of about 90 RS's.... that is what i meant by different.....

Sorry I thought you had altezza's. I have no problem with all reds. I think they look really good. I myself was gonna tint the lenses but had a problem with getting the actual lense out and broke it, so I just got the jdm's, that wasn't a big deal with me. if done well it could even look good with red and smoked. As for the altezza's, yes you would be different then the typical subie, but as cars in general you will look the same. I'd go with an alternative besides any altezza light.

well let me run this idea to you guys. what if you were to remove the clear lens and have the interior painted the same color as your car and smoke the 3 circles darker? kinda would be like the taillights are "floating" in the rear end. gimme your thoughts on this.

I've actually seen it done on a civic hatch back when I was at NOPI. It actually didn't look bad and I gave him a lot of credit for being different. I just don't think it would look right on out car.
