downloaded a program that lets me transfer stuff faster...averaged 390k/sec. That is the SICKEST video i have ever seen. Those guys are NUTS!!!!!!!! ROCK ON!!

310kph is a bit over 190mph! :D That Supra was veeerry fast on the straight away, but the 4wd cosworth ate it up when the road was anything but perfectly flat. Must check out the rest of the sites they gave credit to... :devil:

The transfer rate was about 30kb/sec last night, that's why. :(
I cancelled it after an hour and restarted it just now. The transfer rate now is ~170kb/sec and should be done in about 21 minutes from now.
I'm off to make a coffee and read the paper.

Well, I just finished watching the 'movie.'
A shame they didn't have any rear facing video footage. As adrenalin pumping as the footage was - I spent a lot of the film in amazement that no accidents occured, espcially through the more residential streets where pedestrian crossings came and went - there were a number of scenes where the Escort Cosworth was in front and all you saw was road coming at you VERY FAST.
Other thoughts that crossed my mind while watching this were:
1. What did the other road users think as these guys raced by them at triple-digit speeds?
2. Why did the Supra driver bother to use his indicators? At the speed he was traveling, it made no difference whether he turned left or right. I've traveled on Germany's autobahn at 140mph before and can tell you that even at those speeds, a car traveling behind you at 160mph comes up so fast, you do not have time to react. Considering that most if not all the other road users were traveling at the speed limit, the effect must have been dramatic to say the least. Actually, they probably scared the **** out of other people.
3. The BOV on the Escort sounded great, as Ghostrider said. That sound alone must have given a few other road-users a mild heart-attack.
4. I wonder if the Swedish police will eventually catch these guys? Remember the Japanese Ferrari F40 owner who filmed his speeding antics? He got caught eventually.
These guys took street racing to new level - higher or lower, you decide. The in-car cameras in professional races don't come close to the type of speed/action these guys achieved.

No 8complex, this is the "sequel", and it doesn't appear to be sped up this time. It appears to actually be a supra and cosworth going at it on city streets, for 20 minutes, which it what amazes me. If you tried that here in the US you'd be meeting your new best buddy Bubba for some quality time courtesy of the county facilities.
