Dressing up a wagon? part 2

Stubaru 11-13-2001 10:01 PM

Once upon a time Racebreed.com had the STi wagon spoliers for about 500 and 600$ each, this is the cheapest I've ever seenthem.....however, it's been days since I've been able to connect to their website. Hope they are still around.

Are my hopes dead once again ? :(

Boy these waist spoilers are hard to get a hold of!

I have found a top spoiler at the MRT website. It looks like a replica STI top spoiler for around $210 or so. They said they don't have the waist spoiler though. It looks like we will all be on the search for a cheaper alternative for a waist spoiler. Good Luck.

wagon power

Hi there just thought I would drop a post.

I don't have time to read the whole thread, but it's great to see fellow wagoners out there. Anyone have pic of their wagon they can post.

I think it's great to be able to add alittle spice to the RS/WRX that show up at the meets.

Keep up the good work. When I have more time I will list some of the mods I have done and are thinking of doing.

There's a lot of us that have OBS's too. RS's and WRX's aren't the only wagons out there.

waist spoiler dimensions possibly??

I recently purchased a waist spoiler. Hopefully it works. I'll get the dimensions to Jersey as soon as I get the wing. I ordered the MRT wing but they are backordered. 4subaruparts.com has them for $135. Good luck guys. Hope to have my car painted w/ its RS bumper and wings in the next few weeks.

Digital- Post pics of your car We are all anxiously awaiting the 22B wagon.

Cool...

I remember following this thread last year... and thinking how cool it would be to build a beasty old school wagon (have thought this since Oct. 2000) and now I've joined the crowd!
Looks are becoming quite important to me, but as I've always said, the motor (in the garage) and other goodies will go in before I mess with the outside.

I hope by then we have a replica waist spoiler to go with the replica STi roof spoiler from MRT.

Oh and cheaper rear red/clear tail lamps... and of course other body parts.

I really want to see a STi sport bumper (non flared 22B) on a wagon... but I think 'Digital' is gone from this forum and RS25.com
Oh well.... I can't afford to get that bumper, no matter how badly I want to.

Challengerdeep has the bumper for 899$us. That includes the skin, corner lights, fog caps and mesh. Still alot of $$$ but not as bad as once thought.

Hmmmm....22B wagon?

:D

Cool.

Heres a pic of my 98 wagon:

and the mods list:
Minnam Intake (remember that company? ive been around for a while :))
Stromung Exaust
ApexI S-AFC
GroundControl/Eibach Springs
KYB AGX struts
STi 20mm rear sway bar
STi short shifter
17" Prodrive P7s w/ Kuhmo 712s
RS front
PIAAs
side skirts and rear spats
Kenwood stereo stuff
...and going in this weekend...
EGT and A/F gauges

Some kid rear-ended me a few weeks ago, so im getting a V.5 rear bumper to replace it so the spats fit right. Ive been trying to get the waist spoiler since i got the car, and well, i still dont have one! almost got my hands on one from a wrecked STi, but it fell through. Id like to turbo it, but i dont seem to have 4-5K sitting around....eventually though. VIVA LOS WAGONS!!!

Where did you get the rear bumper? Are you going to use the lightweight beam?

Very cool wagon!;)

are you both on the thread "calling all wagons" started by "girl"? If not please jump on the thread, there's about 61,000 hits and almost 700 comments. We're trying to convince Nick and Alex that there's a place for wagons, they don't seem to think there is. We're also trying to start one at www.rs25.com, so you can join there. They've said they'll start a wagon thread if we can show the interest.

We've certainly got it hear, but can't get a thread. If we can get interest at rs25.com we'll get it.
