Thanks for all the positive comments
I just followed the info at the link below.

No leaking there is plenty of super sticky black goo already on headlight I just added a little black silicone. It's really not that hard to do. I just spent extra time on the surface prep & paint & masking

I see a difference. I have never seen ones like yours. I like them!
Look at the very top picture.
The flat part below the turn signal I painted it completely black.
I just might take a super close up shot to clear this up.

I have a white one and noticed that the lights look much better with the yellow cover removed, but thats all I did when I had the headlights open.

yeah...it helps to use some blakc silicone sealant to seal them...then throw them back in the oven to soften it up again, then very carefully, squesse them together and make sure all the tabs hook together.
believe me i've done it about 113 time already...on 04's on GC's and bugeyes...

FYI - invest $25 in a heat gun. Softens the sealant right up and leaves the rest of the housing cool so you can actually handle the whole assembly. When you bake them, some things can get really hot (like that metal pin on the lower outside corner) and be a PITA to work around.

No, it's a "Koji" addition. Member over on clubwrx pioneered it but I took it a little farther. Basically, it's a particular-size of PVC Schedule 40 bushing (1.5" x 1.25", to be exact). It fits right in the place of the orange bulb cover (epoxy'd in). What I did with mine in the above pic is painted the inside and the front edge of the piece silver, while the exterior of the piece is graphite (like the rest of the headlight).

Thanks manchvegasuruguayguy! I used Rust-oleum High Heat. Here are my views on the paint. It is SUPER flat black. It takes many coats to get good coverage (1/2 the can to do both head lights.) I couldnt get the paint to run. Dried fast and my garage was maybe 45F When I was done painting I let them sit over night and dry in a warm room. Here is a picture of the paint and the black silicone I used.

Here is how I clean my headlights.
Remember they are plastic. So I don't use any glass cleaners on them. I clean them the same way I clean the rest of the car with my carwash sponge and soapy water.
If you have fine scratches on them I have found this stuff works great on plastic and paint as well as CD's & DVD's

It is Made in the USA
I use it with these special towels I found at Costco.
Don't worry if your not a Costco member I recently saw some very similar towels at a regular chain auto store (kragen, Checker, Pep boys, Napa). When you touch them they have a different feel to them almost a little grabby on your skin. They are washable :)

Here is a close up shot they look a little different

Since we are on the subject of proper plastic care I hate when I see scratches across the clear plastic covering your tach and speedo. Never just grab a rag or use you hand to wipe it.
It will scratch! Get yourself a mini California Duster it works great!
For dusting your dash & instrument plastic and even works together with the big California duster in your house to dust your PS2 & TV etc.

Maybe I should make this into its own thread and call it "Proper care for your plastic on your Subaru"
