Kirkland, WA — Subie Gal Racing and regrets to announce that the season has been put on hold before it really got a chance to take off.
Subie Gal Racing - currently the points leader in the NW Region SCCA Production Class Club Rally Championship and has to put the season on hold due to the fact that the Driver/ Owner - Jamie Thomas - has recently discovered that she is "expecting."
"I am shocked!!! Very excited, yet a bit saddened at the same time," Jamie stated. "I will just have to take the rest of the year off, and concentrate on having the car ready to compete for the 2003 season. It is with mixed emotions that I have to withdraw from all events until after the little one arrives."
The Subie Gal Racing team launched its 2002 Club rally season at the SCCA Doo Wops Club Rally in Hoquiam/Aberdeen, Washington - bringing home top honors and the series Championship. Subie Gal Racing looks forward with great anticipation to the 2003 SCCA Pro and Club Rally series.

Now we're gonna hafta pool our money and get you the Simpson harness child seat, stroller and mini fire suit! We'll have to get Bell on desining a pint sized brain basket, and Sparco to make some mini driving shoes and gloves. I'll get a decal company down here to start printing up "Child Of Subie Gal-Subie Kid!" :D

How about "any baby can leave diaper skid marks in a strait line". I can see the headline now, SubieGal assessed a 1:00 minute penalty for leaving service late to change out the left front suspension and the entire foul-smelling passive child waste collection system.

from past experience i've learned that subie gal + marriage = nono. but then again a lot of things can change in a year. it would just be so mind boggling to think that subie gal would give up rallying of all things just because she was expecting. if it was true, i wouldnt have been suprised if she were to train a nurse to be her co driver just so she can continue racing :lol:
