SRTUSA posters are available at all Rally America events. Hats are, at the moment, team-only.

How about a hat for the 3rd most stylist co-driver who used to own Subarus, helped prep Subaru rally cars and is going to be fearing for his life @ LSPR??? ;)

I picked up a SRTUSA lanyard at the X-Games, but I won't be parting with it. I would like to eventually be able to buy a hat though, hint-hint.

I have one of the pre-SRT Pastrana/Block posters. You know you're jealous.

This doesn't help you, but SRT USA had hats back in the day.. Mine is signed by Ramana Lagemann, Karl Schieble, and twice by Mark Lovell.

My SRT USA hat has Sprogl bros mud all over it. :D Mark Lovell gave it to me :)

Hopefully, we will have the SRTUSA merchandise available in the DC web store within a couple of months (along with our driving shoes that will be available late January). We are just waiting for a couple of legal issues to work out, then the hats/t-shirts/sweatshirts/etc. will be available for purchase. :)
Posters are available at all the rallies. Otherwise, if you cannot make it to one of the rallies, then try emailing vtcar.com.

Man I would be totally down for SRT rally shoes. Would that mean DC driving shoes?! Ya I guess I will have to wait to Sno Drift till I can pick up some merch. Does anyone own a Stilo rally helmet? I'm looking into getting one.

Back in Edmonton at the Subaru dealership I used to work at, they sold a bunch of SRT Canada stuff. The posters were only given out when the team came by once a year. Such a sweet collection of them in the parts room! The SRT Canada hat which I have is still the best quality and sweetest looking hat I have ever bought.
Does anyone own a Stilo rally helmet? I'm looking into getting one.
Not any more, but I've worn a Stilo WRC03 in 2003, a Peltor G77 2000-2002 and 2004, and a Sparco WTT-JH in 2005-2006.
This year, in anticipation of getting two new helmets for 2007, I tried them all on again, and tried the new Stilo full-face.
My final assessment: If you're getting an open face helmet, it's close between the Peltor G77 and the WRC03, with in my opinion a nod toward the Peltor because of its proven durability. If you're getting a closed face helmet, the Peltor G90 with the Vermont SportsCar modified peak is the only way to go.

Could you send me a link for the Vermont SportsCar modified peak? I found the website but not any products. Seems pretty customized for you guys.

I always put the open face peaks on my OMP/Megev closed face helmets . The coolest looking one was the "beak peak" on the closed face. Not exactly safe, but then again, is an open face ?
maybe I should call it "Rocket Rally" custom peak...
you need a donor peak from an open face, or order the replacement peak kits..
I actually like the new peak on my OMP. I get the darth vader style retractable peak in a "peltor: helmet.

Nice. That's another good idea. I think any peak on a closed faced helmet would look sweet. It would be cool to have a visor with a peak although pointless for rallying and un-aerodynamic for open cockpit driving. The Subaru rally boys know what's up!

| patr | 10-12-2006 03:14 AM |
the peak is NOT totally pointless for rallying, i didn't do it because I thought it looked cool... the peak and/or visor and/or darth vader setup etc. is very very useful
| Subaru_555 | 10-12-2006 01:49 PM |
What I meant was visor is pointless for rally and peak for open cockpit driving. Obviously the peak is very benificial in a rally car.
| akuhner | 10-12-2006 06:35 PM |
I want to get a visor for my Peltor full face, anyone know anything that fits? I was told that the visor from the open face one doesn't work.

Oops! Yes, I do mean peak. I was thinking about visor in the sense of the brim of a cap.
This is a visor:

This is a peak (now that I know!):

This is the helmet I have:

I took off the visor, and I'd like to put a peak on it to help with the sun (and make it look cool  ) but I've been told that the Peltor peak above doesn't fit.

Alex, there is a simple mod you can do to the VT35 SV peak (above) to make it work with the G90. Get the peak and I'll show you. Or email me and I'll send you some pics. Or call me, because I'm too lazy to email. I'd call you, but I don't want to wake up baby! :) Congrats, man!

Ya man. I used to skate alot and you can see that skating apparel has finally progressed. DC is such a sick sponsor and now to see it in rallying is amazing. I can't wait to see these DC driving shoes. I bet they will somehow integrate the comfort of a skate shoe with the functionality of a race shoe with DC good looks.

No need to bet or ponder that...Ken's already said it's going to be more comfortable than a traditional driving shoe for the standing around us rally guys have to do. :D

I'm wearing my first DC product ever, and it fits like a glove. The new SRT blue and design is pretty sweet.

A sneak peak of the DC driving shoe (a salesman sample) can be seen at:
http://www.flatovercrest.com/archives/2006/10/antoine_lestage.html
Warren Currie is a Canadian rally driver and one of our finer retailers (Easy Rider in Edmonton; http://www.theeasyrider.com/). He brought out the sample to show off at the Pacific Forests Rally this past weekend (he has bought a good stock for those in Canada looking to buy some when they come out) and Andrew Harvey just happened to shoot it and put it in that feature on his site.
We will have a full detail feature on the shoe on the DC site in early January.

On all my OMP helmets (which are made in the same factory as the Peltor, and the parts interchange, etc.) I put the (traditionally) Peltor "beak peak" on it (you can get them from a variety of manufacturers now all are exactly the same). It fits with a small mod. its not the one like in your pic, its like more flat like baseball cap style, but long and with no curve in the middle (i.e. like a wedge peak).

Yes, we have other versions coming out. There is a low top version of that driving shoe called the "Chicane". The first colorways of the shoe will be out next February...and, they are all colorways inspired by the graphics we had on our STI's in the Gumball 3000 in 2005 (black, navy and white camo).

Um, yeah, anywhere really. We stay at Sunday River resort in Bethel. We're the ones with the big blue trucks! :) But yeah, if you get the itinerary off the rally website, it'll be obvious - we're at all the Parc Exposes and stuff like that. So plan on that, and going to the brewery after the rally...
BTW, I'm not going to Worcester this week, so if you really really really want one of these posters, PM your address, and 50/50 I'll get one in the mail to you over the weekend.
