I remember seeing a picture of a blue? WRX with what looked to be either a porsche or VW turbo emblem in the middle of the trunk. It was very original and I was hoping someone still had the pic. If so please post!

Hey guys if your interested I have 2 Porsche Turbo badges that I will sell you. They are both black though.
One from a 944 stick on and a bit bigger than the 911(plastic)
One from a 911 and it has two prongs that would have to be cut off and then you can glue onto the area you want it on. (metal)

I believe one guy spent a week (and LOT Of hours) making a front license plate outta a 911 turbo badge - he said he was able to get the badge from the dealer for like $50.00 - but that sounds AWFUL cheap in my opinion, what with the inflated prices of anything porcsche related - just comes with the territory.

$50.00 is nothing compared to my "I M P R E Z A" badging costing me $65, and suby dude retails the same thing for $80.

Is it me or does it seem a little silly to be putting porsche emblems on a non porsche automobile. sacriligious perhaps. you may very well be infringing on some copyright issues as well. that turbo script has been with porsche for years and while it may not protect the word, it may protect how the word is displayed and used. just an fyi.

Now, if Subaru made WRXs with the word "Turbo" in similar script all over their cars from the factory, than yeah, maybe you'd have a problem.

Ahh yes...the turbo badge mod...I just want to say for posterity that I believe I am the first to get the "turbo S" badge...ordered from Sunset Porsche in Portland, got the '97 turbo S badges in charcoal metallic. On my silver car, looks sick. President of my company stopped by my desk to ask whose Porsche I stole them off of...funny! Not that I need everyone to go buy this and look like my car, but FYI, it was only $23 and change.
I believe the dyno will show that this mod nets approximately the same horsepower gain as the standard "STi" badge mod.

Those Porsche badges are ugly in my opinion. This one struck me and I think I'll put it on. From the Acura MDX. It will replace my "WRX IMPREZA" badges in the same location.
