they are not listed on the website, i just emailed them asked if they had any. they said they could get them. sorry, no pics either, just imagine the ones currently avalible but without the little gap on the inside edge...

Not so.. the v2 spats actually are about 4 inches thick right behind the rear wheel, tapering down to about 2 inches at the far end. I'll try and find a pic.

if the version 2 spats will fit our US bumpers CORRECTLY, then its worth the extra effort to find them. I for one, dont like the current improper fitting bumper spats now offered. So if this is the corrrect one for our car, then I am IN

Good eye! That one actually is the CWest rear underspoiler... the v2 is very similar, but that was the best I could find.

Much better than the version 5 in my opinion. Especially the ones that come in the same material as the stock side skirts. Hopefully a group buy will come to be!

i think if the ver. 2 spat looks like the cwest underspoiler, then it looks pretty wild. it's not as conservative as teh ver. 5 or 6 spats! i'm in, if there is gonna be a GB.

If it indeed does look like the c-west rear, I can't imagine how the lines would line up to the factory side-skirts since the C-west skirts are deeper. It would be funny to have the rear looking lower than the sideskirts(from a side view).

MRT response (please ignore the mis-spellings):
Hi Brian.
Thanks for your reply.
Sorry but I haven't got any pictures of the older version rear spats handy, as they aren't as popular as the later models.
They are similar in purpose and style, but look a little different to the V5/6 spats (this fits with the 'older' appearance of the V2 when compared to the newer models) when actually fitted to the car.
Hope this helps - I will hunt around for a photo, but we don't tend to see many of the older V1/2 cars anymore due to the popularity of the V4/5/6 WRX. Over here, the spats are fitted as standard to the WRX (both new and older style vehicles).
Kind Regards
Ben

are they similar to the version 5/6 spats? i have heard they are quite
different from the current underspoilers, is this true?

I think they look very similar unless you have them side by side then you'd see the difference in the curves, lengths etc.

250 vs 110 shipped? I'd rather save the 140 and cut them, and have them fit flush, but if you can get the v2 spats for cheaper than 150, i guess i'll have to sell my spats.

here is the price we are looking at...
Conversion results:
250.00 Australian dollars = 139.68 US dollars

I think I would just assume seeing a real picture of them before making a decision on whether or not they will work properly.
Time to do a search or two to see what I can come up with.

Looks like the version 2 spat is longer. on our bumper the spat does not reach the cutout for the muffler. You can see in the above pic's that it covers more.

Yea Subaruparts.com offers the V5 splats. If they offered the V2 then we would not have this discussion. However time for a group buy may take forever, someone please talk to rallispec or MRT and import like 50 million. The V2 looks longer and should fit better. I'm in no rush. Scoob2k see if MRT will import some. I'm down i bet you could sell at least 10 possible 20. the question once again is time.
