2.0T Audi badges on WRX?

I was driving down the highway and I noticed a 2.0t a4 drive buy and i was thinking "damn that's a nice badge" and then i realized that I'm driving a 2.0t, what do you guys think about getting the 2.0t badge for my WRX?
| Rev | 11-26-2005 12:58 PM |
Just keep away from putting quattro on the back and you'll be ok. Personally I am not a fan of debadging, rebadging, or any kind of displaying what you have. It seems like a lot of effort for something that would really have no use.
| Butt Dyno | 11-26-2005 02:13 PM |
Everyone knows it's a 2.0T :)
The car needs less badges, not more, imho. Makes the trunk easier to wax.

That is an awsome idea and it does have a great purpose

That's one of the base models of Impreza in Japan. Isn't it? Is the badge a "2.0t" or a "2.0T"?

I may be wrong but I think its 2.0T. Infiniti made a 2.0t emblem for its G20 for a while if thats the style you like.

I think it would be pretty cool. Definitely unique if you can make it work.

Wow, it's like the people that put the Porsche "turbo" on their car. I guess if that's your thing, go for it.
| njskatchmo | 11-26-2005 06:51 PM |
That's exactly the emblem. It looks nice, no? I like when cars say theire displacement on them like 1.8t for the older audi's and vw's. I guess that's just me.
| gjhsu | 11-26-2005 06:56 PM |
 I just like the way cars look the way they do from the factory.
| buzz367 | 11-26-2005 07:22 PM |
holy **** thats exactly what i was thinkin today on the freeway. i was gonna put the "T" on my car. thats crazy i was just thinkin about that.
| ittybitty_STI | 11-26-2005 07:43 PM |
I dont know i just think of when people put other vehicles badges on of a Civic or a Teg just cause i know people who turbo there civics put on 1.8T from a VW or something to that factor but i guess if thats your thing do it well.

FWIW, SAAB makes both styles for it's 9-3 sport sedan. The Arc (middle grade model) has a smaller turbo and less HP and is badged 2.0t. The Aero (premium model, originally called the Vector) had a bigger turbo for a claimed output around 210hp. it was badged 2.0T.

Super Kawai Go Motorsports has been working on a custom 2.0 emblem for their modded WRX. I believe these emblems will become available to the general public sometime in Q1 2006. Here's a super-secret spy photo of the latest prototype:

I think a Red T would look hideous on a blue car, but if you had a black or silver wrx.. either of the two silvers they've made it would look good on the left side of the trunk even with the WRX on the right but you would have to remove the SUBARU in the middle to avoid clutter

I can understand people liking to debadge their cars, to make it look "clean" or stealthy, but I will NEVER understand the desire to put badges/emblems that have nothing to do with your own car. It's soo cool putting an GT-R emblem on my civic! Maybe people won't notice and think I have a real GT-R! woot!

I never understood the de-badge thing, so forgive me if I'm a little off on the re-badge thing as well. It might look good, but then every Audi owner will be thinking you're a poser. In all honesty, Audi ownz Subaru for aesthetics, I'd refit my STi with an S4 interior in a heartbeat if I could, but taking the badges, something just doesn't seem right about it.

Well, we have 2 Audis in the family, and A6 and a TT, and the 2.0 T logo could go in place of where the STI logo would be on the WRX. I just think it will make the car look more unique. However, I must admit, writing turbo on the back of your car is going a little too far...
A side note, most Audi owners aren't really into the whole community thing, so I doubt they will even notice. I think as Subaru's we're the only one's that enforce this whole community thing, with the waving.

Having "turbo" and "2.0T" are totally different things
One the turbo badge is all letters and its like 8 feet wide(hyperbole, please)
The 2.0 T fits and it doesnt advertise in 8 foot ricer letters that its a turbocharged car.
Lets not even compare the two

no offense, Why would you wanna say non sti? It's like saying "close but no cigar" you should be proud of what you have unless you have somethign against sti's. Or you have enough done to beat an STI.

Im sure you could get a 2.5 RS's bad. Chop off the RS and slap on the T from any turbo car with a t in it's badge. I also know that they make a badge that says "2.5 Turbo" for the japanese impreza's.

in canada there was a 2.5ts impreza, just lop off the s and you have a 2.5T badge.
