i was tinting my taillights and headlights and had a pair of some fog lights chillin around and thought i would put them in. these arent the normal size you would see on an 06. these are 7" fogs :)
here are some pics of the foglights and tinted lights:

But never seen it before, nice job.

i think it would look better mounted in the stock fog light location, but good job on the custom work nonetheless
| SpeddeN | 12-04-2006 02:14 PM |
yeah they're too close together...im sure theyd look real good seperated
| disaster999 | 12-04-2006 02:27 PM |
i think this would just blind the oncoming drivers nicely
| ChrisM623 | 12-04-2006 03:47 PM |
There not going to get to hot to start melting the grill or plastic are they?
They are original...i'll give ya that.

Interesting, nice job
| culturedetox | 12-04-2006 04:28 PM |
reminds me of the Studebaker. now to put in a servo that points the lights to where you are turning
| PARANOID56 | 12-04-2006 04:38 PM |
Interesting. Got any pics from behind the wheel? And why tint the headlights? You know headlights are used to light up the road at night. And putting **** on them diminishes this.
| imaaaron | 12-04-2006 04:40 PM |
You gave the pig-nose nostrils!
| Subie FA20 | 12-04-2006 05:10 PM |
it's rudolph the white nose scooby
| WRXDriftR | 12-04-2006 05:16 PM |
um wow.. did you paint on TOP of the headlight housings or something? way to blind yourself
| 02BlueSuperRoo | 12-04-2006 05:24 PM |
Hmmm... ironing much?
You put on huge ass fog lights to help you see better and then you put black tint on your headlights?

but its not for me.
but its not for me.
| brandonbeeb | 12-04-2006 06:44 PM |
not a fan. why would u add fogs that are blinding but tint ur headlights kinda counter balancing dont you think?
| Handsdown | 12-04-2006 07:02 PM |
JEEZ there's a heck of a lot of room behind the grill on the 06's.
and yeah, not feeling it. light bar, ftw.

| WRXFTW | 12-04-2006 09:05 PM |
the tint didnt effect the brightness of the lights.
reminds me of the Studebaker. now to put in a servo that points the lights to where you are turning
I think you are thinking of the Tucker that had the center headlight that turned in the direction the car was turning, unless there was a Studebaker that did that as well.
As for this project, I think it looks weird! But you could get a vanity plate that says "CYCLOPS" if you wanted now...

I had an 80's Subaru wagon and one day I found a center lamp switch on the dash. It didn't do anything. Then one night I was playing around with it and if you turned on that switch when you selected your high beams lights the Subaru emblem in the grill would move up revealing a center driving light. That was cool as hell. I really miss that car too bad it rusted away.

Look ma, its rudolph the red nosed.... pig?
Just kidding, sortof. Nice job on a custom install. Get yourself a pair of hella supertones to fill the outer grill area so you can both blind AND deafen those less than corteous drivers on the road.

Sweet! The "pig-nose" has a purpose! Someone with an '06-'07 needs to stick a huge single foglight in there

it looks alright from the inside. i'll try to get some pics of it. its kind of an X pattern. the right one lights up the left side and vice versa. it works.

Of course it does, it blocks the amount of light that passes through, just like window tint.

the headlights look dull
he should switch the stock grill with a mesh one and add another 2 fog lights, then it wouldnt matter if his head lights were broken lol

Yeah, i'll get you some updates. as of right now, i drive for about an hour with the lights on, and feel them and they are barely even warm. i doubt it will melt anything. as for the pics or w.e you wanted, PM me with more info on what you wanted.

I dont think you can call them foglights mounted that high.
I think if you put some mesh in that grill that really hid them when not in use, it would be sweet.
Next: install some Hellas, and have those lights activate at the same time the hellas do. The ultimate, GTFO of my way.

thats mad weird, i kinda want to puit fog lights behind the outer grill, not in the middle, but thanks for the idea lol
| BigFatGeek | 12-07-2006 07:41 PM |
Foglights function best when mounted low and wide (eg, stock location) while driving lights go higher and can be mounted much closer together.
