Are Sylvania Silver Star any better than the PIAA SuperWhite? part 2

STR8OUT, the Philips Bi-Xenon is out (hi & lo beam). Would you be able to obtain that for relatively cheap as well?

In the mean time, I'm bumping up the wattage of the bulb. The "white" bulbs performs exceptionally poor on wet road. Worst in the rain. Need to go with HID if you want white light. The higher wattage "white" won't do much either per reviews from different forum. Some even claims that they don't notice their headlights are on in the rain even with the higher wattage "white" bulbs.

People are forgeting something, What about the H3's? I don't want my foglights being a different color than my headlights. :(

HHmmmm, damn Bill Gates... I just tried it again with no problems.

The yellowstars won't look odd with your headlights because they don't try to be white, they are yellow:) The yellow is best for low vis., fog, snow, rain, etc.

Hiper makes good lights too. I had them in my old car for 2 1/2 years and they never blew out.
gotta disagree on the hiper blue bulbs. had them in my headlights and foglights and they both blew out within 6 months. cheap tho....$20 i believe

my mom has the SHOWOFF blue bulbs in her benz...they look good and light up the road nicely. i beleive they are krypton charged. once again $25 and 1 1/2 years later and no blow outs.

my dad has the EAGLITE blue bulbs in his benz....same story as the showoff's. good stuff.
