Blacked out 06 Headlamps w/ Pics

Did these over the weekend. They were hard to take pics of since the light would just reflect off the clear lens and the inner housing is so black.

I am very pleased with the outcome :)

Ahh CRAP! I had mine almost out this weekend and when I scratched the paint a little by the corner of the light and decided not to do it. Man its really scary wiggling the light out. I wussed out and now I'm seriously jealous. Nice job man.. :( Can't wAIt to see them installed.. :rolleyes:

hmmmm I'm thinking they would do better with leaving the projector housing piece chrome by taping it off.

I think I'll do this saturday and do a black/black picture write up.

Go ahead and tape off the projector, its tricky, thats why i didnt attempt to do it. If you do it correctly, it should look nice, more factory, however I didnt want to risk paint dripping (somehow) and getting on the painted parts and the line might not look even where you taped off....this is why i just sprayed the whole thing.

Yeah I can't blame you at all for not wanting to hastle with it...

But I'm a huge perfectionist and am pretty detail oriented so hopefully she'll turn out okay. If not...welp....I just repaint ;-)

Well at least its on the right colored car.

It makes the front end look a little more aggressive. Goes with the grille better also..
