Gimmie Gears Prova Hood installed

This is the BEST fitting aftermarket hood that I have ever purchased. 100 % perfect fittament all the way around. Mad Props to Charlene and the GG crew.

That is about the nicest aftermarket hood I've seen. I like the stock headlights better though.

I just got mine in today, and the body shop said it was the best fitting aftermarket hood they have ever seen. It will cost around $500 for all the prep work. But it looks awesome! They packed it well too!

There are no pin holes when you get the hood. You can get them drilled though.

That it would be. I followed Chris "ConeBasher" around the track a couple of times and "tried" to stay with in 5 seconds of his times. It never happened. Thanks for the video Rich.

The last picture has been Photochopped I think to remove the side vents and intake creases. The top 3 pics is what the hood looks like. Reason i know this is because the last pic (with black outline) is also of my hood.

Will that hood, with the scoop so far forward and down, work Ok with a mostly stock engine?

From this pic, it looks like it would meet up with the stock
TMIC - not sure how efficient it would be given that there are heat extractor sections, which is perfect for front mounters.

YOu could anways get the original Prova hood, which is Carbon Fiber, and not a replica. Of course it will cost you $2500+shipping from Japan. :)

I emailed prova a while ago (I also posted this on WRXTuner's thread), and this is what prova told me:

Hello,
Thank you for your email.
You can puchase the hood. The hood is 380,000yen .
It's about $3,160.And it will cost shipping charge $400-$500.
and it is not painted.
If you want to order ,you have to pay in advance.
Thank you,
Just fyi ;)
p.s. according to Imprezer (owner of that other i-club), the hood is hand-laid fiberglass, not CF....

I really love that hood, makes it look like a much more aggressive car..
Common questions: will it work with a TMIC, its only 02/03 right?
total cost? 700 (parts) + 800 (paint/install?)

Jedi: I am kind of unsure on your post. Pontiac makes nothing that even resembles this look.
BigGreen: It does on a regular basis:)
25RS: Thanks
Skibbi9: Yes it works with TMIC. The factory splitter can be installed on it and it is for the 02-03 body. Price on paint and install is probally different every place you look.

It does. I have the APS TMIC and also the APS splitter which seals it to the hood (nice piece, BTW). Here is a link to how I adapted the splitter to accomodate stealth IC spray nozzles:
