Got Bandwidth?! Subaru Legacy GT In-Car Race Video part 2
Yes. With the exception of Daytona, our plan is to hit as many events as possible starting at Iowa in April. Dates like Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen, and Miller are already cemented into our schedule, and we intend to add as many more as we can.

When we first approached GA about running a Subaru in their series, they were resistent to the idea of the WRX running. We then found SOA would support the homologation if we did a Legacy instead, and GA found this more to their liking. Hence the reason we built a legacy.

We are in the process of aquiring a second car, and we are currently interviewing funded drivers for all our seats. The number of events we do beyond those I stated above depends on the funding level of the drivers we find. Wish us luck.

Why are they resistant to the idea? Did they think the WRX would run away with the ST class? Also, is your team the one that homologated the Spec B (just reading the rules and regulations)? The Spec B's 6 speed transmission seems like a huge plus in terms of reliability. Thanks for answering my previous questions!

To be honest, I think it was because we were not a current Grand-am team, and not a factory. When we applied for the WRX homologation, we found we were not the only team that had tried and failed to get it in. Once SOA got involved, we were able to homologate the Legacy in just a few weeks.

We did not homologate the Spec B, but we have been looking into updating our chassis to those specs for this year. There are more than a few things on the Spec B homologation we would like to have on our car.

Too bad, many people would have liked to see WRXs tearing up the track. I guess money and even politics speak loads. Do you think you're going to try to homologate the next generation Impreza? Good luck on this year's campaign!
That porsche though... Damn fast there at the end!
Yep. That was the leader of the GS class coming around to lap the ST field. Quite a bit more power and less weight that the Legacy GT.
