The quaility of the hood is very good, water flows between the belts and the raditor - straight onto the floor (I saw it first hand today).
Thanks!

Looks good. . .
Gotta question for you, though. Do you have an aftermarket intake? And if so, which one?
I'll probably end-up getting that hood, so I was wondering about intake clearance (possibly the Blitz SUS or some other short ram) and relative position to the reverse scoop/vent (don't really want all the water just dumping onto the intake filter, right?).

Right now I have the MRT short ram intake (the one that came with the MRT FMIC), it sits just to the left of the opening about 1/2 an inch. There is no way for it to get soaked with this hood, since the vent is curved down directly above the radiator fan opening.

Thanks, a lot of my inspiration came from a photo of a limited edition sonic yellow STi RA-C from the STi site + I got the hood to make the FMIC look more integrated into the design of the car. :)

You couldn't be more right, I'm currently in the market for an STi Ver I style front lip in carbon. I just forgot were I saw them. If not then I'll just get the STi one and have it painted MBP after triming it for the FMIC.

Thanks! I would get it tinted in a flash, but in NY it attracts the cops more then any other mod.

The hood retails for $895 and ground shipping to a NYC residential address is $150. So in total it's about $1045 + tax if you buy instate. Some dealers will give you a break on the final cost, I recommend PM'ing Z1auto for your own personal price quote. ;)
Thanks,
Greg
