hey all,
show me some night shots with the lights on of your gc8's/01 or earlier body style. specifically interested in seeing stock lights w/ the headlight mod (black/smoked effect). any1 tried the headlight mod by painting clear headlight covers instead of the headlights? also would like to see any pics w/ additional lights added to stock lights. thnx.

here is one of my latest....wierd how the headlights look so blue. These are the osram silverstars and they def are not so blue..

hmm, what would you need to hook some extra lights up that wouldn't come w/ wiring harnesses, etc? thinking of adding on some small lights near the bottom of the bumper/foglight area or lower. thnx.

i wired my foglights up with an APC aux light kit. cost me 10$ from autozone. It came with all the wires, harness, relay and switch. ANd prity good directions

mount the tripod (or wood thing) inside the car... you can use any lens, but in that pic im sure its a fish eye lens, because the distortion is crazy....
then just set the shutter for like a few seconds and it will capture all the moving lights ....

yep, fisheye lens, and I think it was like 3 seconds, not very long (as you can see the lines aren't all that long).
For the mount, I took a scrap piece of MDF (about 1 inch square by 1.5 ft long or so), drilled a whole in one end , through which I stick a bolt that threads into my cameras tripod mount. Then I've just got two little strips of metal (about 3 in x 0.5in) that screw into the MDF on their ends, and just bend over the two rods in the passenger headrest. It is SOLID, as solid as the seat is anyways.
You can swap the headrests, and get pretty good just out of car shots (out the driver window)

wow, i'm suprised that came out so well, the only real soft edges are on the driver face. that came from a digital camera right?
i always wanted to try the same thing by taking everything off of the rear deck where the speakers are, then it should be as stiff as the car. i have it mostly setup for my s13

The vinyl itself is reflective and is usually gold/yellow. Why it looks white in the photo, I don't know.
