A buddy of mine just bought a crx, i guess the guy that sold it to him bought a tach for it and never got it installed, and just gave it to him. my buddy didn't want it and gave it o me. check it out autometer tach w/ rev light...i installed her tonight, also put 2 red bulb covers on the backlight

why does everyone have to be so rude? its his car, he is going to do to it what he wants whether its puting a tach in it, jacking up it 20 feet or puting 22inch rims on it... its his car.... but seeing how he didnt put a vf39, lip kit and some bbs's on his car everyone will make fun of him because he is different.....

Well, don't care how it looks - it is his car just like I don't care that your car is primer+black+blue. Whatever you like - it is your car. You guys are all mean, you could have asked him why from the get go instead of going off on him. My stock tach sucks. I hit the gas and it hesitates, and it drops slower then the revs actually drop. if its a problem with my tach then I could see putting in an aftermarket tach would fix the problem , but I would replace my cluster with an STi cluster. And sorry but an autometer tach does read better than a stock tach. plus if you race a lot the numbers are bigger, and the shift light you dont really have to pay much attention to your tach, I dont like it but thats what he wants. And you never know his tach could be messed up. so it would seem it does not react well with 580whp.
