Am I the only one that loves the look of Monaco but thinks the F1 racing there is boring as hell?

I can see what you mean but it's not boring to me because of the risk factor. Just about any mistake = the end of your day. It keeps me on the edge of my seat until the checkered everytime.
oh, so use the infield exactly how it is, but make left turns onto and off of it? basically using the part of the oval we dont use now, and dont use the part we do use now? but where would be Start/Finish and how would that be any different then using the front straight? its just an oval...
It would extend teh circuit by about 30 seconds. The SF would stay where it is.

I think they could have done a better job building the in feild part of the circut but i think long beach would be a better place or maybe a street curcit in NYC or Vagas

Still completely confused on your Indy idea and how you want to rearrange it. This is what i think you meant, but you say the S/F will stay where it is?

how is that? How can you incorporate the back straight, infield and S/F on this layout? Or do you want to change the infield design?

This is along the lines of what I was thinking, or something like it. Make the track longer, use more of what's already there and I think Indy could go from merely an OK track to a truly classic venue for F1.

I seem to remember Tony George saying they had some ideas for extending the track in the future, but I've never seen any proposals.

This is what I am thinking of. Let there be a big straight to the turn so there is a passing zone
