How about that jump Sola did, completely sideways in the air, there was a lot of luck on his side on that one

watched it last night on speed... those kangroos are kind of like those white tail deer up-here in Wisconsin.. they never look both ways before crossing the road

Oh yeah, I was expecting the car to flip out on the air after it landed in a cloud of dust. I was like  after I saw that it was still going.
Need on-board video of that move.

I was very suprised that Grist said that Skoda didnt have the driver talent. I know that is true...but the way he said it was very...well...disrespectful. Colin is a very good driver, I would love to see him having a ride next year. Oh BTW, anyone see when the fly went in McRae's nose?

Damn, imagine how well Colin would have done if he had been driving a Ford, Subaru, Citroen or even a Pug. It would have been his.
I'd love to see McRae back at Subaru with Grist. I don't think there's enough room for two "number ones" though. It wouldn't be fair to expect Petter to take a backseat to Colin nor vise versa. Not that it's going to happen anyway but...

Fears that the clutch might not survive the final three stages forced the team to replace it in service this morning. Unfortunately the change did not go to plan and the clock ticked away past McRaes permitted service time. Earlier in the event a similar change on Armins car took just 22 minutes, well within the time allowed.
Members of every rival team gathered to watch the drama unfold and when it was realised that the rally was over they burst into spontaneous applause in acknowledgement of McRaes drive to what might easily have been koda Motorsports best ever finish in the World Rally Championship.[/quote]

Really sad.

Nikki was talking about Skoda's regular drivers, not Colin.

Amazing... that'd probably bring a tear to my eye. I really hope Skoda stays onboard in WRC next year and doesn't back-out or drop a class, if they land a skilled driver (McRae) it looks like they could be a title contender.

The thing about Skoda is, they have shown good speed on various terrain (Sweden-Ekstrom, Germany-Bengue, Finland-Passonen, McRae-GB, Oz). Reliablity has gotten better too.
These young punk drivers that they hired seem to think it's a necessity to set a stage win on the first stage of day 1 and they stuff it. Armin, well, he should have left years ago.
I really hope they stay on.

I loved seeing Colin kick some butt. So good to see him do well....

I've always cheered for Skoda. I think there's a little diamond in the ruff and hopefully Skoda will put two polishers on for next year and make it shine. I'd love to see a race to the podium (driver and manufacturer) between petter and Mcrae....Subaru and Skoda! I'd buy a ticket to that event, however unlikely.
and you silly people no matter what car gronholm is in it's going to have problems! otherwise he'd win! :p p.s. gronholm is great!
