Redline Time Attack and Pikes Peak Hill Climb Team-Up! part 2

The cars will be fast and the competition should be very close, there is no doubt about that.

The 2.8 mile section from the start line just lacks any real character or exciting/spectacular turns, and seeing as there are additional and recently paved miles that are connected it seems a shame to not race on them!

Wookie,

Next year, depending on what they pave between this years event and next's.. we very well may run the lower section of paved road.. and then the upper section(s) and combine the times. What we are doing this year was suggested by the Pikes Peak Board of Directors, so we couldnt complain. ;-)

Well that explains it all, and the board wonders why the entries and spectator numbers continue to taper off.

Best of luck with the Time Trials event.

For all my griping I'll be down there camera and credential in hand instead of above treeline just for the time trials event...
