measure twice cut once...thats the extent of my advice for now since mine won't be here for about a week and a half. If you do it good luck and post pics when you're done.

the structural integrtity of the roof is in no way comprimised IMO. You cut no support beams, just the metal of the roof itself and then, in turn, bolt a meaty bracket in its place :)

no. You could maybe make the argument for a sunroof (i know there was a discussion about this), but not for a roof scoop. I definitely plan on doing this on the wrx im picken up this summer.

god I love the spec c roof scoop...too bad im a under funded college student... :( ....maybe once I get a summer job....
