i was actually wondering if i could get blue lights mounted on the underbody as well as my blue emergency light since i'm a local volunteer. i think it'll look real nice and give it a nice Knight Rider look...what do you all think?

well god damn.. first of all i'm just gonna be honest w/ everyone... lol i got these strobes for free... the car i had before this was a crappy hyundai accent... i've always wanted to have a wrx... and the strobes came free with this BOV i got (which was a mistake i already fixed... :o but i'm learning here, give me a break.. u know what its like first learning about this)

a reason there is no information being provided about "stobe" or "strobe" lights on this forum. There is little to no knowledge or interest in "lights" that don't illuminate the road or add some value. There is a small minority that feel that "stobe" or neon lights add something to Subarus. Most do not. Like it or not, most Subaru owners on this forum don't consider "stobes" or neons appropriate for their cars.

I feel you, but like I said, i got them for free.... anyways... you're telling me that people don't have "interest in "lights" that don't illuminate the road or add some value" when I just saw a thread where about 50 people were tryin to change their HVAC lights and the main gauges lights....... and they got a step by step tutorial on it.... but whatever... you guys would rather bash on me cuz i had a question about some strobes... which by the way looks nice... yeah i'm trying to make the car more powerful and all, but that's later on, right now i'm concentrating on the interior... (sound system, *LIGHTS, etc.) i don't care what people think about it... I'm not the type to spend all my time on the tracks... I still have my time where i'm drivin out w/ everyone just enjoying the nights tryin to pick up chicks.... chicks don't know about "stage 2" or oohhhh you got that new intercoooler?!??! cool!! ...lol know what i'm sayin... but whatever

Um, Dash lighting makes it so that you can see your gauges and tachometer better. I dont approve of neons inside the interior or stupid stuff like that either, which includes changing the background of your dash. I think strobes look very immature and 17yr old-ish. I do go to car shows, and you can usually find me looking at the new turbo by xyz company not the stereo and lighting section. In fact, I am a musician and I write and record my own music (not pop or rap) real music with instruments, and I have come to the conclusion that if I want to hear high quality sound it will be in my studio and not in my car, so I dont have a sound system in the car. Id rather listen to my exhaust. I think the general concensus is going to be No strobes and No neons. Its going to be divided with systems but I think that enormous bass thumping subs are overboard too. You are going to get a lot of thumbs down for BOVs. I have a 50-50 as a compromise but I realize that little to no benefit comes from it at all, though I havent noticed any bogging or super rich condition. In terms of girls, grow up. You will get a girl that respects you when you have a good job, make money, show some responsibility, and care less about how your car looks to girls.

I have a feeling, in like 4 months im gonna be driving down the highway at night and see flashing lights in my rearview and pullover. Just to find out that its a black wrx passing me with strobes and im gonna think of this thread and laugh for like an hour.
