Just got my Shift knob I've been waiting on:
Custom 140mm "LUCK" EL Sport extended shift knob.

You may have seen it before on a HOT VERSION video Touge Battle w/ the LUCK "Nagoya Subaru" Rally STi (Tomakien = Driver).
Although they have a Slanted Gearbox Shifter thats more towards the driver...which ends up putting it almost right next to the steering wheel,probably 8-10 inches from the wheel.
I'd love to bend mine that way...but not sure yet.
Yes I know it looks like a Dildo...but its Nicely weighted and Perfectly Egronomic.
Made of an Acrylic type material but weighted more than Stock but less than my old Titan STi knob.
I have a Kart Boy short Shifter and Bushings and it sits the Shifter right where you need it.even w/ the Armrest Extension its perfect.
Japanparts.com is the best @ finding Real Japanese parts...all you have to do is ask.Thats why I get everything from them. :D

Wow is it battery operated with 3 settings...just kidding, that is one rare knob man. No excuse for missing shifts now.

i have a greddy counterweight one on my car right now. and i love it. makes shifting so much easier with the kartboy shifter.

I didn't really get the short shifter for a "Short knob" ,but to help battle the sloppyness of the factory Shifter w/ combo of the bushings
.The height stock is fine to me...just it ws very sloppy.
I like to be right there w/ the knob so I don't have to reach down to grab it.
I love it.Its obviously a Rally knob for ALOT of shifting but damn if its not comfortable!

All dildo comments aside - that is truly one of the ugliest things I have ever seen in a wrx- In order for me to put something on the interior or my car, it actually has to look nice besides serve a purpose otherwise it's a no -go - but hey I spent 30 bucks on a red hazard button so I shouldnt talk :D -If you like it then good for you - Just pray your girlfriend doesn't like it that much hahahaha - sorry I had to

I can appreciate the want for a taller shiftknob/lever. I went with a Forrester shiftlever (2inches taller), and a perrin shortthrow adjuster. Overall, my throw is very slightly less than stock, but with my tall shifter, probably three-four inches closer to the wheel.
