Who has the best bugeye STi7 impersonation?
�

Just wondering who has gone the furthest to look like a Ver7 STi. I figure it's gotta involve some/most of the following:
-the projector headlights
-the grill
-the scoop
-fog covers of some variety
-seats/interior
-factory "small" spoiler
-the gold split 5 spoke wheels
-a front lip (ver1, ver2, or the oem kit, which iirc was optional for the STi). AFAIK the car came without one though.
-sidemarkers? IIRC they had the same yellow ones we did.
-brembos?

Disclaimer: I am not looking for sleepers with STi motor swaps and 6-speeds. Cool yes, am I violently jealous yes, but not the point of this thread :)

Bakedcookies is doing my jdm sidemarkers this weekend.
V7 wheels in March and Interior by June.
Spec C roof Vent by June also..I'm coming for Solo One's spot.. :lol:

I even tried looking like a UK300.. :lol:

Solo One is the mark to shoot for so far I think. Seats/headlights/grill, maybe a trunk swap for the OE spoiler and I'd be there. Hrm..

Basically, all I am missing are the V7 gold rims- which I hope to get w/in the next few months to finish out the "basic" V7 swap. My "complete" swap will require several more items ;)

Im workin on it. ive since put on the sti scoop, splitter, V7 TMIC and front 4 pot brakes. I have a genuine STI lip and side skirts in the the mail. i also have a set of folding mirrors coming.

The car currently sits RA struts/springs. HKS hipermax II coilovers will be installed around the end of ths month.

The headlights are the OEM HIDs, not conversions.

I might carry some seats back with me when I go to japan around the end of the year.

The front wheels look crooked... that's just the -3.7 degrees of camber ;)

I am debating going back to the stock spoiler. I am definitely going to get door cards/seats sometime next year. Maybe solid fog covers... they are closer to true STi7 but I do like the meshies a lot.

Solo's into the dorifto underground now. Still has the wrx, still looks just as nice, but it's just his daily driver. His 240 is the new project car. He's living the dream... and his life, a 1/4 mile at a time. :lol:

That's the latest... I'm now back to the small spoiler.

I didn't want Brembos (weight) and I had Ver7 seats but removed them (have Sparcos now, lighter and actually more comfortable).

Still debating the side indicators...
