Pou, I've been a fan of your work since long before I discovered NASIOC. Infact, I can say that your 2004 (or was it 2003?) video is what started my WRC/Rally obsession. I love it, but I think my wife hates you now. :) Do you have a paypal account? I'd love to send a small thanks.

Yep, this one the first WRC video I made. At that time, I didn't thought about signing it at the end so some people don't know yet that I made it.

For those interested in how I proceed, here's what I do when I make a video.
1- Watch all the rallies and grab the best parts on my computer. So it's 16 hours for 16 rallies (1 hour show).
2- When grabbing, I try to name the file something meaninfull that can tell me the rally, the car, what kind of shot (in-board, chopper, on-car, exterior) and 2-3 words describing the scene. For this video, I grabbed 165 clips totaling 5.41gigs
3- Then I take an excel sheet, enter all the files and add some column for:
- car make
- driver
- rally
- surface (snow, tarmac, gravel)
- duration
- shot (in-board, exterior, chopper)
- kind of footage (jump, curve, accident, "human")
- A score from 1 to 5 (5 is best)
- A description
4- I begin the making of the video. With the Excel file, I can sort by score to make sure I put most of the 5 in the video, by duration, etc...
5- When I'm finished, I deleted all the unused scene. For this video, this left only 1.4gig of files. So a lot of shots weren't used..

Awesome music selection, yet again. Very appropriate. I especially loved the Citroen (Loeb?) pulling the 270 to get back onto the correct path while "I'm not sure which way to go-o!" was being pumped out. Nice touch. :D

Thanks for the videos, they're great! In fact seeing the 2001 compilation earlier this year is what got me into following WRC this season. Thanks for helping me find yet another Subaru addiction :devil:

Yea, I haven't noticed any helicopter shots yet either. Those are great shots to see cars whipping through corners and hairpins. (Though I haven't watched the Catalyuna race yet...)
