I think this just decided what I'm doing tomorrow morning.
Hey, totally off topic, but where do you get the parts to make the front bumper cover look like the one from an STI? I still want to keep my fogs though.
Id say just do the same process with cutting out all the honeycomb. Sand it all right done and put a little bit of bondo on the areas then sand again untill its smooth. For mesh, if you want the same kind of look, id say go buy some chicken wire and just make it so the squares are diagonal instead of right up and down.
I did this last week and turned out great! I used a very light coat of masonry wrinkle paint then sprayed black over it. Awesome mod! I also debadged the rest of the car while I was at it.

Btw, don't forget to paint the center near the hood latch black if your car is not in fact black. Mine is now painted.
Sweet ride man, your car is PIMP
The ONLY thing I might do in the future is a sweet lipp.

Lol thanks man.
With the bondo I remember when I was using it, it was really difficult to make it really smooth. Using the textured paint helped cover up and blemishes and unevenness in the bondo itself. One of my favorite mods to date.
