AWD 25hr Racecar that Starts with the Letter "S"

Not sure how many people saw this at SEMA, but I'm proud to have Gary leading another one of my 25hr efforts. The turbocharged and extremely light Suzuki SX4 'GodZUKI' my company made for American Suzuki is built to USTCC regs.
In addition to Gary behind the wheel, we have an IRL star, a JGTC star, and an quality magazine editor steering her home.
There are a number of NASIOC compatriots involved in the project--should be fun, and if there aremore of you that want to volunteer, I can find a place for you somewhere!

1) nice work!
2) I thought it was missing an endplate on that wing based on the first pic but it was just an optical illusion
3) are the flames and decals one giant sticker or are the sponsor decals applied on top of the giant body panel stickers? and is it a bastard to put on and remove? :P

3) the flames and such are a wrap, with all logos, barring the hood, done in reflective vinyl. Any yes, my fingers are still sore from peeling the reflective vinyl off the STi from last year's 25hr... ;-)

Being that I'm an "old school" suzuki performance guy... Can you tell me exactly what the driveline layout is for the SX4? Nobody at the dealerships knows what I'm talking about when I ask them "what kind of AWD does the SX4 have?"
IE, is it a single transmission with integrated front transaxle (like subaru/audi), or does it have a transfer case (like BMW)? Does it have a true center differential, or just a viscous coupling (which would suck). If it DOES have a true center diff, what style is it? Open? Viscous? Electronic? Torque biasing gear type?

Great.. you say 'your company' etc.. but don't throw in a name with it. I see many different companies listed on that car. Whether they be sponsors or builders, dunno.
And really, no, I don't know who MPME is. How is MPME related to motorsports? What does his company do? I go to 3 forums on NASIOC, Motorsports, New England and OT. That's it. MPME isn't in New England, doesn't go to OT, and probably posts very little here in Motorsports about his company, or the like.
So no... I have no clue who he is, which is why I was looking for clarification, that looks like it isn't coming, because many assume I should know already. As most of you know already. Great. Thanks for helping one n00b here that didn't.
There are COBB stickers on the car, but COBBs in AZ or TX or something and the OP is from BAIC. So that's one dead-end to me.
"Don't you know who I am?"
"Umm... nope. Vivid?"
Is it that goddamn difficult to say what company you are, or for ANYONE to say? I mean... jeez. That's really absurd.

You came off pretty harsh in the first post.
MPME is Marshall Pruett. He was a big push behind the ESX STi. He has 400+ posts on NASIOC if you do a quick search on his name. I'd guess that most if not all are in motorsports. For someone like yourself who frequents the Motorsports forums, it is shocking to me you don't know who MPME is.
All he was doing was posting pics of the car that Gary Sheehan is driving at 25hours. I hope you know who Gary is since he posts on here frequently as well ;) .
You could have also clicked onto his website which would have told you who he was.

MPME is Marshal Pruett (You might be able to tell from the picture he posted of himself a few posts ago that has his name on his shirt). He is a race team manager and makes tons of posts on here and the only place I have seen his posts are in one of the 3 forums you claim to frequent. That is right here in Motorsports. He was running a team for a little Subaru related team called ESX or Easy Street in case you don't know ESX either.
Also, Cobb is in Utah, not Arizona or Texas. They were in Texas about 5 years ago. So you were close there.

Talk to real people? Yeah, ok. Many here know that my real life persona isn't that far from what I type here. I have no issue talking about things.
Forgive me for not knowing who Marshall was or 'your company'. Not everyone follows everything that people or companies do.
I only knew *of* ESX and that they make cars. And here's a big one... I don't see ESX anywhere on that car. So tell me, how was one to know only by a screen name/real life name. Heck, I'd probably walk right by Bill Gates and not even bat an eye. I don't follow motorsports that much either... speedchannel? Yeah, right. Don't even get that.
People assume wayyy too much on this forum.

How close are the internals and driveline to the production car? Interesting project, because I've never really associated performance with Suzuki (...on 4-Wheels). It could change a lot of minds, assuming the project is a success. Every time I see the SX4 being advertised, it's billed as the "cheapest AWD car available!" and not so much for the enthusiast crowd.

Honestly though, is SOA really that supportive of enthusiast? It's taken them over a decade to figure out that they should offer a decent catalog of aftermarket parts.

Because Marshall and Gary are really trying to sell us Suzukis in this thread.
It pretty obviously relevant to not just motorsports but to many people who frequent this messageboard, so just relax
There are a number of NASIOC compatriots involved in the project--should be fun, and if there aremore of you that want to volunteer, I can find a place for you somewhere!
I'd gladly volunteer if i was out west.

I'd volunteer as well, but Thunderhill is a bit too far north for me. Good luck at the 25 Hour.
So does anybody have any technical details on this car, or is this just a PR hype thread for a car that has no chance of winning anything in stock or lightly modified trim (at least according to the technical specs of the production car).
Tight lipped, skunk works type project.
LUME,
How's the Valley treating you these days? We need a reunion...maybe take the 06 entry in all its CF award winning glory out for a joy-ride.

A) LUME's been banned for a long time. And he's not me.
2) LUME doesn't live in the Valley anymore, he lives in Pottstown.
iv) Oops, please don't make a connection between "IT Swift" and "LUME" both living in Pottstown.
And finally, TTIWWOS!!
(this thread is worthless without specs)
-LU... err.... IT Swift out.

Hey everyone.
The car has selectable all wheel drive, meaning you can turn the drive to the rear wheels off and have the car run as front wheel drive only.
The car has 140hp stock out of a 2.0L motor. It is currently being "helped" to more power, but will likely remain below 200hp to make it to the end of the 25 Hour race. This is a largely untested platform in racing, so going too big too soon might be too bad.
More to come GodZuki develops.
