Look under Driver's Ed. I'm not sure Autox is covered since I remember in the past that it does not cover any timed event. Autox might be considered as a timed event. However, any HPDE track event is practically covered as long as you aren't using a timing transponder. You're more than welcome to mention that site. However, I haven't used it so I can't really give any recommendation. However, I first learned about it about 2 years ago when I used to read audiworld.com forums.

Hmmm. That sounds suspicously similar to the current MA policy wording which is used to deny claims for auto-x. Thanks for the info, but I was curious about insurance for auto-x. I ran out at Devens for the first time today and from the looks of it, you would have to do something totally insane to get into trouble. Any of the other events I've seen or driven at in parking lots still have the potential to wreck your car if you get too out of control. I'd like to be covered these days if it's economically feasable. :)

I had looked into this and it didn't seem to cover a 2003 WRX being autoxed or I would have bought it instantly - $450 with a 20% deductible is a bargain compared with the quote I got.
If anyone finds out that this insurance will definitely work for autoxing a newish car, please let me know.
