I like the use of the license plate mounting holes, but think the adjusters look nicer when stuck up into a bumper ie, the angle of the adjusters is in plane with the front to rear axis of the car.
I think it would look better with a little more meat out in front (a lip).

I've been reading this thread from the beginning but never posted because I wanted to see what other people might say. I honestly think that if it's functional and strictly for track days, who cares what it looks like?! In the end, it's your car and you can do whatever you like with it. More power to you.

Looks like something kids will skateboard on.
Get the wax.

[quote=ADIDAS;16093600]My thoughts exactly. That is absolutely horrendous.
I give it 2 days before someone steps on it or runs into it on accident and ruins it.
Congratulations on completely ruining the look of your car.
Is this the next step in your process?

if that gap in the middle isn't filled up, your splitter wont be very effective.
also adding an air dam would make it a lot better.

You may be right, and I have considered the issue. However, while there is a very small gap present, it's not "open" in that a few inches behind the gap it closes up due my design used to create this thing. :p
I have considered fabricating some sort of bridge, but I'm already on to designing version 2 (in my head now, on paper soon, on the car... someday), and I've stopped development of this version 1 model. ;)

As additional follow-up, this thing has proven to be a lot tougher than I believed it would be.
It has taken one dead-square-center 80+ mph cone hit on track (from someone who couldn't avoid an apex-marker cone before I'd already committed to my line :(), numerous square- and deflecting-hit autox cones, occasional under-lip scrapes from steep negative approach angles (like going out of some parking lots ) and the grand finale, slicing the drywall exterior of a post in my garage. Cut right through the post without any splitter damage.

have you considered a v-limited style lip and then putting the splitter below that? it would close up that gap and give you a flatter surface to mount the splitter to... just an idea.

taking a second look at it, your going to have to fill in that gap if your going to acheive the proper downforce your trying to obtain.
