Gauging Interest on Prodrive RB-5 Rear Wing for GD Chassis part 2

Butt Dyno 08-03-2006 11:38 PM
anyone make a replica?
Wings West makes an (original) RB5 replica... I think it's called the Prowing. That's what's on my trunk. It does not have the additional slats.

I don't get why this is called an "RB-5 Rear Wing" if it doesn't look like the rear wing on the RB5.

I like it a lot. One of the first ones I've seen that I'd consider getting. I really like the fact it fits in the stock holes so it's not permanent. If it's $600 unpainted though I'll pass. By the time I got it painted and all it'll be around $800 and I almost can get my fp18g for that. Anyone know of any more companies that make wings that fit in the stock locations?

Judging by the fact that the original post was almost 12 months ago, and still no word from Prodrive, I'm going to just throw out there that Prodrive isn't going to produce this. No big loss. It isn't the best looking wing out there. The verticle slats may be functional, but they are also fugly.

We can get these now!!!!

Prodrive just let us know that we can import these directly from Prodrive UK.

Price is $1175.05

ETA - 1-2 Weeks from time of order!

If it can go Ground, we can ship it for free. If it has to be sent via Truck Freight, we will have to charge for shipping. Unfortunatly we do not know the exact box size, so shipping costs are something I do not have right now.

Please let me know if there are any questions
Thanks

Aaagh almost $1200 for a wing. Never mind. It's cool looking but not THAT cool looking.

Where can I buy that Prodrive front license plate? That thing is cool.
RallySport Direct 08-31-2006 05:13 PM

I can get you a Prodrive Licence Plate Frame! I know it is not near as cool as the actual plate. I dont know of anywhere you could get that. Let me see I can dig up any inof on it and I will post it up if I come up with anything.
Thanks
Rick
