Were can we pick up more speed against the RX8's and RSX's ?

I think this would have to do with lowering the minimum weight... which unfortunately is set by the rules.

From my understanding this Legacy weighs almost as much as a street trimmed full interior legacy and is running ONLY a Protune with stock exhaust and whatnot.

[QUOTE=goto_racing] I passed the 70 Mazda on the outside of turn two. On the next yellow I realized that I had passed the factory Mazda with Trimbley behind the wheel, and that is a fealing that I will not soon forget. More race recap to come soon...

I can't wait for Phoenix!!!

Nothing like laying the smackdown on a factory car with a factory driver on thier own turf.

Yeah pretty much, the car is out handling most the cars in the field, its mostly stopping that we are having trouble with. And not because of any mechanicals, just because when you try to brake with a 2500 lb car, on the same size tire, you loose. The Racing Brake rotors and the pads that we had worked amazing. I was hammering them my whole stint and they never faded. I was told that they were glowing red hot though, even in broad daylight. Yikes!

Congrats guys--glad to see the hometown team do so well--I'm sure the Gruppe-S magic was a blessing too! :D

Good luck it PIR!

Hello,

I would assume "brake with" means "keep up with, in the braking zone"...

No... Thier race weight is near 3300 lbs... The RSX's and Mazdas were around 2500 lbs.

Our "dry" weight is 3050, making our fully fueled race weights:

With me: 3310
With Brian: 3285

Yikes. I have never done the math before. No wonder our rotors were glowing red in broad daylight.
