I like the Liberal one

Is the Liberal emblem easily removable so I can put the pink small STi logo in it's place? On the stock grille, does the center peice in the grille that has the subaru emblem easily removable?
EDIT: I just owned myself.. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=724788&highlight=Grill

I love the C-west grille, but I wish for the MY04+ model that the middle piece was a little more subdued like for the MY02/03. It kinda looks like a bird beak...

Modified stock here baby! Found That if you use a whole can of Metal Flake Black rustoleum (looks EXACTLY like stock color) and colorsand between each coat while using a good prier and good clearcoat that it comes out [emailprotected] nice. I used bondo to fill in the gaps after sanded down the plastic and it look vry nice. Total price $25 for all materials.

For the modded stock one the plasic coated mesh goes back on...
Aftermarket grillls usually come with mesh too, if not, make some :)

I need to get pics up of my modified stock... It was easy to do and came out looking great... Can't tell anything was ever there, and the paint I used matched the OEM almost perfectly. Yesterday I cleaned off and lightly sanded the hood latch mechanism and gave it a few coats of flat black rustoleum to cover the gold bolts, silver spring, and various pit marks. Looks much better now without all that extra stuff so visible.

Yeah- if you pulled the emblem out (not a chance w/ my wife - she absolutely loves the "pink"- ofcourse I correct her and say it's cherry blossum dear :D) and painted it up you would have the Liberal grill- for mucho cheaper!

| kheovnien | 05-21-2005 02:55 PM |
how much is the C-west grill? I actually just bought another grill. I am still interested, but I'm not too sure if it's actually reasonable to buy it now. Do you or anybody else have any pics of it in WRB or pics of it on a car without the C-west body kit by chance? Thanks

Modified stock is definitely the way to go because I think it looks the best. All the others have two things in common: WAY OVERPRICED AND PRETTY UGLY
(to me at least)...
I think modified stock with a logo in the middle or on the side owns all these others.
