I know it is hard to see, but it is two blades. The blade underneath sits in flush witht he top wing, and curved the same angle. There are 6 bolts that hold the lower blade in the position you select. The lower blade slides up and out, or down and in. Grab two pieces of paper, stack it on top of each other, and curve them in a half moon. Now slide the sheet on the bottum up and down, keeping the saem curve, and flush with the top sheet...
Get it yet?;)

:D I'll get the one you ordered out sometime this week. Irvine Subaru placed the initial stock order. You'll love it!

Something can be functional and still look ricey. It's a subjective thing.

PLEASE!
Make this for GC8 Please :p

i'm thinking about it. We will be startign a hood for it soon as well. Hopefully it won't be too "ricey".
| dwx | 05-07-2002 08:41 AM |
These wings aren't really functional for well, 100% of the people buying them. Do you have tests done to determine lift, drag, and downforce produced by the wing? If not, then it's not functional, imho. That being said, I do like the wing, mainly because it doesn't stick up as high as the other Subaru replica wings. This one and the Orciari wing are the two that I would consider getting, but we'll see. This one is more of the box shape of the Prodrive wing, which I like.

eh...i like the wings west version better IMHO
| WRX34 | 05-07-2002 01:29 PM |
Shoot....I figured for the price it's nice. But I realized I can't fork over $600 though. I might get the Wings West afterall and fab a carbon or fiberglass adjustable portion in my own time. Just...need...money...yep.

I like this wing, but am I the only one that feels some minor rounding and shaping needs to be done on the side panels, as well as flushing up the blade with the risers a bit more? It kind looks slapped together, but then again, I haven't seen it in person, so...
| TygerStile | 07-08-2002 08:22 PM |
I think the wing looks great. Just too bad I already have an aftermarket wing. Kaminari does come out with high quality products. Us SoCali I-clubbers were lucky enough to get a tour of their facility. Good job Ben, the parts look tight...
