What other motorsports claim that?? That's why I think it's so cool, even though it isn't a WRC car - you get a good idea of what it would look like on the street.

I also think that we need to quit using "rice" so much, BUT it totally applies in this case.
IMHO the definition of "rice" is used when a car is trying to LOOK like a race car without racing the car. If what you do to your car is actually functional and makes the car faster or better handling, its not rice. Its your street car that youre trying to make faster and or/better. If what you are doing is stickering up your car or putting on parts (10 ft wing) in order to make it LOOK like a race car you are being a rice boy. Plain and simple.
Now if you don't want to use the word rice, the word lame is pretty good as well. I would call this car lame IMHO because he never said he races. If he races then suuuure sticker the sucker up. I run stickers on my car, I put LOTS of magnets on my car when I race, but I get $$ for it. Contingency and sponsor $$. Subie Gal has tons of stickers on her car. Hey, I'm with you on that...go for it! I just took off a medium sized WRC swoosh in silver (it actually looked white) on my trunklid and replaced it one that I had laying around for awhile with a bigger one in reflective yellow! It's differant and I think I'll leave it on for the summer at least. But I do believe I will go back to silver (on BRP it looks so good). I'll post some pics soon.

I have the 2000 rally champsionship design on my MY00 RS.
And I get looks EVERYWHERE. I love the car, always have since back in 2000. So what did I do? Bought the MY00 RS and had the logoing done by a friend of mine who is a vinyl "ARTIST". I mean...this guy is AWESOME, and my car MUST be seen to be believed. Is this RICE? HELL NO. I am creating a full scale "replica" sort of say.
IGGDAWG saw it pulled over on the highway once (:lol:)...and he liked it. Have since then gotten ALOT of stuff done to it, etc.
This is RICE:

Thinking his car is some hot rod ( IE HONDAS which are FREAKING passenger cars!)
With japanese symbols all over it with a 6inch exhaust, and gay arse rims etc etc.

Or people who can't afford a real WRX and cannot get a real EVO7, they ahve a Mirage look like a EVO... I seen couple of them on the street with wide body but 14" blackies that is all the way inside the fender... That is "RICE"
Imagine a Dodge Neon with 2 viper stripe, Impreza scoop, 22B wing, 14" caps and with 555 all over the car... That is "RICE"
Anyways, when someone do something to their car and make it look worth, complete useless, not even dress-up, those are "RICE"

I think your ride looks really tight. It doesnt matter WHAT you do with the car....race it, show it, commute with it. Whatever. The MAIN thing is...ITS YOUR CAR. I personally think that the PINK color that STI chose for their parts looks gash...but 99% of subbie people love it and pay high $$$ to have it on their car, some go as far as having FAKE STI pink stickers and emblems on their car. Hahaha, if thats not 'rice' then I SHO as hell dont know what is.
Bottom line, I dig your car, and so do most others..they are probably just too jealous or ball-less to do it to their car...or their wife wont let them sticker up the baby-hauler.

That car has plenty of stickers for parts that it DOES NOT HAVE.
So from that, you can deduct that car = rice.
Now I would love to hear from the owner. I bet that is some little kid that doesnt even own the car and took a pic he found on the internet. I haven't seen a reply from him.

Actually I think its how much knowledge you have of cars in general.
If I had a dime for everytime someone called my car "ghey" or rice because of the gold rims or cherry blossom red (i.e. PINK) decals I could buy another WRX!
Then when I tell them its JDM style and get a look like I'm explaining brain surgery to them I wanna sell my Subaru for a Chevy Blazer. :rolleyes:

I hate 'riced' hondas (and the dickhead drivers that go along with them) just as much as anybody else, but there is absolutely nothing rice about a full scale WRC replica!
