Some things are universal. Like the camera/mount thread. To stick it in with HPDE would be doing a disservice to autox and rally readers.

making them seperate could be good for these three reasons.

Many people who follow WRC (non-american spectators) do not follow Rally America.

Some factory teams are not in both series, so a thread that combines them requires you to specify what series you are talking about before talking about it to avoid confusion.

Someone wishing to read/write about one series must filter the info about the other series out to follow the conversation.


Thats not saying there are not reasons why this would be bad. I personally think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
