Yeah from the begining of the fender well to the opening for the radiator. The pic below should clarify. This is were the side pieces would fit over.

S-WRX The under spoiler is three pieces, two sides and the center piece.

Well, I hate to be the bringer of bad news, just talked to the parts guy at performance subaru in UK, the spoilers come primed for painting, he said although some parts can be ordered pre painted these can not be (just in silver).

Some other info: If both were ordered the weight would be 30kg and the box would be 5ft x 2ft x 2ft. Payment would need to be made via wire transfer, when the parts are avalible they would contact you so that you could set up shipping.

Talked to customs in KC, stuff from Canada and UK are charge 2.5% of declared value, based on the invoice that you present. If you don't live in the port city (most big cities have ports) you have to hire a customs broker to do the paper work for you at a cost of $50 and up. I also called FedEx and inquired about shipping form Canada, he said that customs duties will either be billed to me or I will have to pay upon delivery (Better get my $12.50 ready).

Well since it would need to be painted I am going either get one form Vivid or Canada. From Vivid it will be $560 shipped and from Canada it will be $492 plus shipping ($50-100) + customs ($12.50). I beleive that the guy Trento Subaru in Canada said that he would ship it to me for $492. If this is true I may just go that route. On the other hand Vivid will paint it for $100, that would save me from doing the prep work my self and pay someone local to shoot it.

Man I was hoping to get this done for about $450, not going to happen. Hmm I wounder if I ordered a waist spoiler, front lip and STI hood scoop from Vivid at the same time if they would give me a deal.

Kevin

The new AU kit for the sedan is a little differet that what the wagon front looks like, the center part is split in the middle vs is 4-5 sections. I do like the rear under spoiler on that kit much better then the current OEM sedan and wagon. The side skirts are a little much for me, if the removed the upside down kick out from the side skirts they would be sweet.

Where did you get the replica from, I am sure that it was a better price then the OEM one.

BTW is that a STi hood scoop on there? Looks good. Like the graphics too.

Thanks

I'm finished F'ing around

I know this lip for the wagon can be put on a sedan cause Subaru did it due to the lame lip they offer for their sedan.

I'm tired of F'ing around on this thing, I want it and I'm ready to buy it.

Any one with me on this? can we get a group deal going to lessen our costs?

I believe vivid has this wagon OEM lip for sale and the shipping would be less than from outside the U.S. It does come unpainted I believe but I'm not positive.

If no one is interested then GoeT100 I'll buy that lip from you right now. get out there and start taking it off :p

I'll even drive there and come pick it up. It'll give me a great excuse for a road trip home to Miami.

You figure it out I can't

I went to vividracing.com and they do have the wagon front lip $459.99 & $70.00 for shipping. No information if it comes painted or not.

Now check this out when I buy this I'm also going to purchase the front grill side set, vivid price $89.99 & $35.00 for shipping. Here's where I start to trip out. I will also most likely get the STI hood scoop vivid's price $199.99 & $15.00 for shipping.

Ok correct me if I'm wrong but the front grill side set is half the siize and weight of the hood scoop but more than double the shipping cost. Kinda makes me wonder about the vender and their shipping costs.

Am I the only one or does that not make sense?

Anybody in for a group buy on this wagon front lip???

jerymon 03-26-2002 08:16 AM
