Corporate America, just like Corporate World, put their money where the fans are. Here, that means NASCAR, unfortunately. No other series really has any major viewership. So, blame the fans if anyone.

French won nations cup. I think they wanted them to win. Loeb hit the wall in heat 2 of 5 and didn't get penalized. Then in heat 5, Kova's red Ferrari crapped out.

Does anyone know if this got real coverage on SportsCenter last night? There were some clips of it in one of their flurry o' clips segments, but I didn't see the whole show so I don't know if they actually talked about it.
Damn local cable company has inHD, but not HDNet so I've got to wait for the Speed coverage :(

It got a little news coverage on i think speednews or autoweek.
Yeah the Speed coverage is this week Sunday I believe.
Man the coverage on HDNET was just amazing, I would love to see some WRC or even F1 on that. Watching highlights of champ car series on hdnet was just :banana:
Also when they showed the ROC course from the top of the stadium my sis walked by asked if it was some animation. Picture was so crisp, it didnt look real at all.
On another note I think they jewped?sp? some people. IE Sebastion Loeb hitting the wall and not get penalized for it. Poor Schumi, why did he have to get confused. And I wish Jeff Gordon had participated (too bad on the flu), or even Team USA would have gone further, tuff luck.

Schumi beating Loeb
and Loeb beating Gronholm in his car
