I had the passport 8500 x50, i liked it alot, my brother has the v1, i could pick up cops around turns faster than he could. But on the straight highways he had me beat. I dont have the passport cause it gave me a false sense of security making me think i was invisible sort of speak. That and i noticed it killed my auto dimming rear view mirror causing it to go bad in the spot near where it was mounted, making me think that that radiation can be affecting me aswell as my mirror, i got rid of it. May think about doing the v1 later down the road if i ever use one again.

Hardwired Bel RX65pro. I have had it about a year now and it has paid for itslef countless times. On a straight, I can pick up the cops about 1-2 minutes before I see them. It does well over hills and arounds bends too. I do get false K-band alerts at stores and such, but I have never encountered a real K-band radar. All around here use Ka or *gulp* lazer...
