Final steps and Conclusion
Here's a picture of the wiper in action. The JDM glass is dark. I'm realizing how dark it is because today is really cloudy and when I look through my rear view mirror, it looks like I am looking through my rear view mirror when I have it dimmed!

Here's the final product. I will work on the washer fluid some other time. I looked at the wagons on how they implement the rear washer. It's pretty simple, but of course it will cost more $$$ and right now I am in the process of buying a Perrin uppipe ;)

My total cost for this mod is as follows:
Rear Windshield + Wiper Motor + Wiper Assembly + Switch*: $550
Extra Wires and misc parts: $30
Rear Windshield Installation: $85
Total: $665
This is cheap considering if I were to buy all this new from Japan. That price easily triples! I would like to thank Vivid Racing for shipping this thing in tacked and in a timely manner. They were helpful in every way. I know a lot of people have had problems with them, but I had nothing but first class treatment from them.
Again I would like to thank Alan Peterman for helping me wire the motor. Yeah I know it's simple, but when you don't have a wiring diagram or any equipment to test it, it becomes a challenge. Also like to thank Action Autoglass for doing nice job installing the rear windshield, and last but NOT LEAST, I have to thank my wife. She's taking half the cost of this as a B-day present for me! :D She was very patient with me during the duration of this installation and TRIED not to laugh when I screwed up here and there ;)
Oh, as far as installation time (minus the time to have the windshield installed), I spent about a full afternoon on this. Thinking about it, it probably took less than five hours to wire this thing up and get this thing going.
Everything works and I am one happy camper. I am going to have to see if my insurance will cover the cost to replace this window if something (I pray this won't happen) would ever happened to cause me to have to replace the windshield. I think this really adds uniqueness to my car, considering there are very few of us (with the USDM WRX) that have this mod :D

That it is :D As far as being professionally installed, I don't know of any place. I went to some subaru dealerships and they were all dumb founded and didn't have a clue on how to wire the motor. Luckily, there are some smart people here in Portland and on the forums which made my life easier :D Looking at the install, it looks pretty professional . . really clean IMHO. Total cost was around seven hundred bucks or so. Well worth :D

I was so close to having your rear window in my WRX.:) Some day I will have one of my own.
I don't know if any body has said this yet, but the wagon wiper stalk is a direct replacement. It cost me about 50 bucks. It's easy as hell to install. It will send power to the white connector for the rear window wiper fluid. The rear window wiper fluid motor is a little overpriced, but is made for the strange connector. If you replace the factory connector with one like the main wiper fluid motor's connector then you can use a $5 junkyard wiper fluid motor form any Japanese car. You'll need the rubber grommet to mount the wiper fluid motor to the tank. You can get a wagon tank or drill your own hole.
1. wagon stalk
2. wagon tank
3. wagon motor
4. wagon grommet
5. some tubing
That should get you water to rear.

Sweet, thanks for the info. The water tank on the car should be sufficient. There is another gap and plug for yet abother pump. I agree that any parts I buy from the dealership I'm gonna pay way to much!

For the part that you get, the wiper stalk is a cheap mod. Just be sure to unscrew the screws from underneath the steering column before you pry the two plastic pieces apart:). Other than that, swapping the stalk can be done using only a philips screwdriver from the drivers seat...talk about easy.

Where did you get that wiper stock from? I may be thinking of something else because the wiper stalk is a lot more than 50 bucks . . . post a pic or something or send me a serial number, thanks!

What car is that from? More than likely you can get that from that cars manufacturer or from a junk yard.

trunkmonkey aquarium
I just finished my search. One of the vendors is selling it for $300 in the vendor's forum. It is the intercooler water spray tank from a Spec C. The pic I posted was of a S202. I think some regular STI models get them too. It includes the mounts and motor/pump. The only downside (besides paying $300 for a glorified milk jug:)) is that it won't work with a V-brace.
VENDORS: Copy this. Sell it cheaper. Put the cap in a better place. I'd like to have a second cap that can be filled through the pass through/ arm rest. I also want a sticker that says:
WE DON"T SWIM IN YOUR TOILET, SO PLEASE DON'T PEE IN OUR INTERCOOLER SPRAY TANK.:)
