Super-Loud Italian Air Horn installed part 2

splicesite 02-16-2006 05:11 PM

these italian air horns rock! it came in only 2 days after ordering from Griots with standard shipping and just now installed it in like 15 minutes. My only problem was the zipties that I bought were so crappy they just broke without even tightening them down! ha! I ghetto rigged the horn in by using tied wire instead of zipties. I think I may go with the inside-the-fender mounting as it seems pretty slick. I love how the horn is touch sensitive, you just tap the horn you get that nice round beep, lay on it and the thing just opens up.

Man those Supertones sound like crap :-/

I dunno why people are going nuts over them... I installed some Airhorns on my Impreza but the tone is too high pitched for me, so I removed them after about 10 months.

Still in my Trunk but went back to the Stock horn.

I say a video online where a guy but train horns on a 350Z. He went driving around scaring the hell out of folks. It was really loud too. they kept jumping into the bushes when he drove by. Now that would get some attention.

What about the hella two tone and three tone air horns?

I wished people who use Mic, DON'T STAND IN FRONT OF YOUR CAR, a 125Db Horn would Distort with Ease...

your better off Mounting the Mic over the hood or behind the hood near the windsheld so you can get the "Tone" of the horn.

If I had $80 to Blow on the horns thats how I would do it.

Everytime I hear a Mic in front of the car, I think Cheesy horns that are overpriced.

Had to get that off my chest.

I saw it on i-club i think several months ago. I don't know where it is at or what it is called. It has to be on i-club or streetfire somewhere.

There's a smaller, more compact version of this Nautilus air horn that just started becoming available. A great writeup is here:
