Well I can tell you this:

R32: Hoosier 305 - 850 whp - Max weight reduction & lexan windows

EVO: Hoosier 305 - ?? whp - Max weight reduction & lexan windows

STI: Hoosier 245 - 580 whp - NO weight reduction - full pwr - stereo etc.

I took pics of the tires for each, for those of you that want proof. Sorry, no numbers for you on pwr to weight.

The top cars were running Hoosiers, so I guess you could say that there was a spec. tire, hehe.

This is in no way a dig on the R32 or the EVO. both drivers deserve full credit for their results in the time attack. Incredible drivers and incredible cars.

Just proves What a great driver the black sti has. Again it does prove it helps to have power yes, but a great driver is what you really need.

We received the in car video and clipped out the part everyone at the track was talking about. The begining starts off with a conversation between the two drivers and then off to the track to see who's boss. Now you can see how the whole EVO vs. STi battle went down at the Redline Time Attack held in March 2006.
