You can't do a pole with more than ten options so what track would you like to see gone and what track should the U.S. gp be run at?

The US GP should be run at the new millermotorsports park....its a $58 million dollar facility with pit garages and and awesome track...with some nice amenities...

+1, F1 is known for being fast around corners, an oval doesn't show the talent of the drivers or the full performance of the cars.

Also, the run offs cause yellow flag periods every other lap because the cars get buried in the sand. There's no place a driver can put a wheel wrong w/o bunching up the whole field with a full corse caution.

What, no Suzuka? That's friggin BS!! I can't remember the turn name, a letter then a number.....but it's almost as famous for separating the men from the boys as Au Rouge.

i dont really think we should get rid of any of them, but i guess i could do without either bahrain or one of the two german or italian tracks, +1 for the old nurburgring.
as for USGP, it should be at Infineon on the sports car course, i love that track with the elevation changes and its swaying sequences, perfect for an F1 car.

Its not really BS, they didn't negotiate well enough to keep the home race. The european GP will probably be going away so they'll be able to have two races. The turn at Suzuka is 130R. Its a big turn but it isn't close to Eau Rouge just because of the short length of it.

If the USGP moves I would like to see at Road America or Road Atlanta for the track but I think it needs to be a more metro place then either of those. If they could craft a good race track at Vegas I would love to see it. Both of the road courses are fantastic as race courses but it has to be a place the Germans, Finns, Brits, Indians (dot not feather), Japense and the like would actually like to travel to. Hell, I would like to be in a place with some centralised night life too. Indy is surprisingly fun in that regard.

Since I live down the street from the track in Indy, it's nice to have it here because it keeps my property taxes down. Other than that, if any of them move, I'd move the Indy one to Vegas.

Give me back the old Hockenheimring, too (I think the new one is Tilke?). The new tracks are too sterile. I like the tracks with character and variety because it makes the engineers and drivers have to work a little harder and just makes it more interesting in general when you add in the historic factor.
I can't wait for Spa to return.

The drivers think so too, but F1 is all about the $$, so as long as those new Asian/Mid-east tracks keep bucking up, they'll stay. I too think they're kinda boring. Malaysia has cool looking grandstands, but gets my vote to go.

I was with you guys on the Tilke thing up until I saw Turkey. He actually got one right. Like David Hobbes says you actually get the sense that they are going some where. Bahrain, Hockenhiem, Malaysia etc. so fell like they are simply driving in circles.

like has been said already the likely hood of a track being taken off the schedule is all politics and money, Toyota sunk oogles of money into Fuji in hopes of taking away the F1 race from Honda and Suzuka. Personally I feel Fuji is far more lame of a track than Suzuka but my opinion doesn't mean squat lol. I say pull Hungary as well, and take USGP to Infineon like everyone else has said

Not safe enough, crap pit complex, and there probably isn't enough support areas around teh track to support all the personal so they can sleep somewhere.

The Indy GP uses half of the oval and the rest is a road race course. I don't recall any of the F1 drivers complaining about the Indy course.

Every since I started watching F1 there has been one or two accidents a year where the driver would have died if he was in a less safe car. The issue is you can't have walls 4 feet away from the track when the cars are going as fast as they are, which most of the tracks people have said should enter have all over the place. True, Indy has it too, but they have the safer walls now and it being Indy (like monaco) it is given prescendnese over other tracks.

Brickyard should stay, I love it. Bahrain should stay too since a great challenge. I personally don't have a single circuit I'd like be gone. Rather would like some more added. Another American circuit would be awesome. And one in Eastern EU would be nice too (St. Petersburg or Moscow)

do drivers need to die for you to enjoy F1? thats pretty sick if you ask me. Look at how the death of Senna effected the sport, definately not what most fans want to see.

They've been building one around Moscow, but F1 management and Russians didn't agree or something so that's been given up. From what I understand there's a possibility for another one near St. Petersburg in 2008.

There's supposed to be one in Cancun too. It was supposed to be in the 06 season and then got pushed back to 07. I haven't heard a word about it in over a year though.

Yea, it was supposed to happen in 05, but it keeps on getting pushed back since there are political issues...like the head contractor getting killed and stuff.

Yep, the mexican GP was supposed to be there, but it is being pushed back. I think the schedule might expand to 20 races in 08 with more money being given to the teams so they can have more personel working individual races and not spending as much on the cars.

No, instead of turning to the right to get on the back stretch turn to the left and use NASCAR turn 3, go down half the backstrech and turn rigth back into the infield turn 10 180 to make it a nice passing opportunity.

oh, so use the infield exactly how it is, but make left turns onto and off of it? basically using the part of the oval we dont use now, and dont use the part we do use now? but where would be Start/Finish and how would that be any different then using the front straight? its just an oval...
