What would you like to see more of on Speed TV?

This Poll is in regards to this thread (click me)
We want to focus our collective effort on *ONE* specific race series (so pick your favorite!)...To ask Speed TV for just 30 more minutes of coverage (we'll work on this later)
Would you like to see more attention given to a particular series already beign broadcasted (WRC, Speed GT, etc)??
Or would you like to see a racing series not broadcased, or no longer shown?
And again, let's decide on what to focus on and then we can decide on the details and how to approach this.If you don't see something on the list, just let me know and I will add it! And as a general rule, to avoid pointless arguments we've already had, you CANNOT use the word NASCAR in this thread ;) :D
Thank you EVERYONE for your cooperation! You will be rewarded! lol
And in case you need a refresher, check out the websites:

Instead of Motorsport Mundial recaps, I would like to see, even in abbreviated form, FIA GT championship series races.
More attention SHOULD be given to Speed World Challenge, GT & Touring. Heck, they are the primary sponsor. Think of how great an "inside look" type show would be of this series....especially touring car.

Anything that is NOT oval racing. I can't stand the boredom associated with NASCAR and all the oval racing series -- it is like WWF with cars neutralized to be so the same and banking that is so excessive that my grandmother could go left left left and the car technology is non-existant (circa 1960's).
The series I want to see:
F1
WRC
Champ Cars
IRL (if they do more road courses)
Speed World Challenge (GT and Touring)
V8 Supercars
All motorcycle racing
Rob.

I want to see ProSolo. I'm not kidding.

Trim down the fields covered: SS, STX or ESP (joe viewer couldn't tell the difference, but might enjoy Sammy vs. Tom, particularly if there are interviews :) ), SM, B or CP, and AM.
Mimic the best of the NHRA, World Challenge coverage (between-run interviews and in-car multi camera coverage).
Toss in a well-spoken color commentator who has a relevant clue/opinion/perspective like KC (I wanna hear someone say, "whikkid retodded" after a spin :D ) along with the usual bobblehead.
Pay Despain's way and make sure he has a good-enough time to make it remarkable and worth return trips.
Cross-promote the hell out of it on GRM and Sports Car Revolution with project cars and background pieces.
...shake (never stir), and you'd have content every bit as good as the australian big block puddle dinghies, and/or all of the lesser-series' circle-track events currently cloggin' up the works.

We have a round on US soil this year and it's pretty big with the "tunerz" crowd so the money in advertising is there too.

Well, from what Ive learned in Statistics courses (and I may be totally off on this) there should be only one answer allowed on somethign like this. So you have to vote for your very very very favorite ;) Sorrry
I'll be making a seperate tally for all the responses though, so don't worry!

It'll be cool if the covered series like the Ferrari Challenge, and other one make series.

More lower class of open wheels racing. Most notably F3 and top tier shifter kart races (super ICC in particular, or formula super A (non shifter i believe)..dunno if they still run that class)
but having karting world championship coverage would be awesome

Although I love watching WRC and SCCA, I gotta say that Speed needs to start playing more British Touring car racing. The races I've seen have been incredibly competitive and exciting. There's no predicting who's going to win; they all have a good chance.

So nobody wants NASCAR, so why is SPEED pushing NASCRAP NASCRAP NASCRAP down our throats?? Cause it is 'Mercan?? Y'all. Pathetic racing yet is covers every aspect of American TV and consume just about all available sponsors.
Still just don't understand the draw of NASCAR -- side by side racing -- yeah I do that every day in rush hour traffic. It is such a useless event where passing is accomplished by the standard hit the left rear quater panel of the guy in front and move on by -- yawn-o-rama.
And all the cash whore NASCAR drivers -- in it for just one reason, money -- driver talent has long since left NASCAR.
Oh that's right -- NASCAR has lead changes, lots of them, to keep the weak minded entertained -- the fans that think they can go to your local dealer an pick up #3 special with 750+ HP (beer included).
NASCAR is the biggest crock and dupe job since since since watergate. I really don't know how NASCAR drivers can live with themselves -- cash whores with little or no interest in the real sport of racing.

I guess you can say NASCRAP is the motorsport version of American football.
Only americans watch it
The track is in a stadium; so that, every fan can see the action.

How about more "old" races, like F1 Decade, except the entire race. They need "Speed Classic".

In addition to more WRC, I'd like to see more Touring Car races.
I'd also like to hear more commentary of a technical nature. Most of it is way too dumbed down. I want more slow motion replays with Madden-like analysis of racing maneuvers.
"Watch here how this guy times his overtaking perfectly coming into the corner. See the nose drop on this car? That's when he hit his brakes. Now watch this guy. He comes in right underneath him and doesn't hit the brakes until riiiiight here. Boom!"

Wow, 56 votes, and it seems as if Rally might come out the winner, and SCCA is almost in the #2 spot.
We'll let this poll go for a couple more days just so everyone can vote, and we'll move on from there.
Anybody think we should do a similar poll in the "General" forum, or perhaps a link to this poll??

I didn't vote for SCCA because that it too general... their touring series is kinda cool, but not nearly as cool as BTCC. JGTC is cool, but it is too far out there. BTCC is just the only one that is nearly a realistic series vehicle-wise while still having good action and showing fun courses.
You people have to face it that Nascar is a series for the "lazy American" where you can sit in one place, not miss any of the action, and when there IS action, it's BIG and DESTRUCTIVE and FUN. IMO, it's a glorified demolition derby with more advertising then 10 porn web sites.

I had to go with Rally...never get too much Rally :D Actually the coverage is quite good now - as long as you manage to catch it's very limited window of availability!
They even show F1 races 3 times the same day, which I like, but there's no consistency to additional rally coverage, and finding a replay of a (late lamented) SCCA rally is about as likely as finding a monogamous porn star...
I keep a tape library of WRC and US rally (only) so you can see where my priorities are; I also watch: (roughly in order)

Rally: WRC, US
Speed Touring/GT
MotoGP
WSB
F1
Vintage/Historics racing...(depending on venue and content)
Champ Car - road courses only, if/when I can find one to watch
Goodwood! this low on the list solely because it's only once a year
various other Speed content; I've gotten so I quite like Alain deCadenet's discussions and demos of classic marques. I think I'd rather like his job
I'd like to see the old WRC rallys too. When I was stationed in Italy they'd show the rallys (not just WRC) and wouldn't edit out the parts where spectators got plowed by cars going off course.
